Title: Moneypot can't withdraw
Post by: Neptunium on February 21, 2016, 05:43:40 AM
I've had some BTC invested in Moneypot, and now I want to withdraw. The withdrawal took my money but never sent it.
The status of the withdrawal is: Failed due to not enough hot wallet funds

My history:

The withdrawal:

Is anyone on this forum the owner/staff of Moneypot and can help me? Their support doesn't work and gives me "{"error":"INTERNAL_ERROR"}" every time I try to contact them.
Thanks!

It's self explanatory..

As for the support, just wait on here and I'm sure one of the reps or staff members on there will give you an answer.

I will message their staff as well to refill it to expedite the withdraw, sorry for the inconvenience there was much wallet work being done the past 3 days and could be the reason for the low hot wallet amount.

**I have messaged their admins, and linked your thread to them; I hope this was from winnings, if so congrats!

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it. Some some from investing and some from betting. I invested when it was around -10mil investor profit.

Just got worried I wouldn't be able to withdraw my coins. :)

Awesome good to hear you gained, the admin in control of hot wallet I believe is just away from his desk at this time, but you will get your withdraw for sure. For the inconvenience, I will ask my mods to tip you some Rubies on our casino if you like, you don't have to play them you can do as you like and withdraw (Just to ease the waiting time a little). If you see people in our chat with green color nameplates just tell them Bjorn said to tip you and link this thread. Good fortune to you!

Sent.

We apologize for the delay.  The hot wallet is a tricky beast to conquer at times.  There's brief moments where a couple users will withdraw 10+ bitcoin altogether leaving a temporary low balance.  You seemed to have requested a withdrawal during that time.

You can always shoot me a PM here for any questions/concerns or bring up any issues on our official thread here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1366689.0)

Sounds like issue is already resolved since theres already funds sent.

In the future, how do we properly address this scenarios? Do we just rely on moneypot support team or post amessage here to get attention from owners.

My problem has been resolved! Thanks a lot to the guy at BetterBets who helped me, and I also received some Rubies (Really appreciate it).

I've been using MoneyPot since the summer and I'm happy with the service.  I would just ask you get your support system working. It's really important for a gambling website, especially one that hosts many gambling websites.

As stated earlier in this post, the funds were sent sometime ago.

We apologize for the issues with your withdrawal, and we're glad you enjoy our service! Shortly before you placed your withdrawal our hot wallet was emptied by a few large withdrawals. As far as the support system (email), we are working to get that back up (we have been doing a lot of maintenance work over the past week, the old codebase was rather inefficient on our servers). If you ever have any questions or concerns please reach out to one of our team members either on Bitcointalk, Slack or Skype and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
