Title: why the wallet update so hard? Post by: hxtop on January 20, 2013, 01:38:45 PM I'm useing the wallet client(the bitcoin-qt ver 4.74),I'm very Uncomfortable about the bitcoin update block must be everyday download?

https://multibit.org/ The bitcoin-qt client download the whole blockchain wich takes a lot of time. But for normal users this isn't required, so you can just use a lightweight client :) Title: Re: why the wallet update so hard? There is a test version of MultiBit with encrypted wallets available (version 0.5.7beta) here: https://multibit.org/releases/ (https://multibit.org/releases/) It is not ready for general release but I must admit I use it with my real BTC.
