Hi Guys,

I have been approached by a salesperson last week trying to sell onecoin. If i would invest 500 i would get X amount of onecoins that i could then trade in my backend system for big $.
I have read about onecoin before and it just smelled a bit fishy back then, so i kindly thanked the guy. The thing is, today i have met two other people trying to sell me yet again onecoins. Looks like they are recruiting heavily around here (NL). What are your thoughts about onecoin? Safe or not?

Im new in the crypto world,but as i noticed,atm you can either look at btc or eth.First because,well,its used as actual currency,being accepted as payment method,and eth because its the most promising altcoin out there because of its features.Other than that,every altcoin out there is all about speculation,you either make some profit or get burned.With eth it seems that it has most promising future of all those altcoins ,but itself its a speculation aswell and a shitloads of promises,but still,its still more than pure speculations (other altcoins,including LTC btc clone) and being backed by nothing,or almost nothing at all.

"Onecoin" is a Chinese Communist multi-level marketing scheme.  Stay away.

I would say stay away from anyone trying to sell you anything in the land of bitcoin, especially anyone and anything Chinese.  No offense but counterfeiting and such things seem to be ingrained in that society, probably  including ripoff crypocurrency

I don't really insult attempts at crypto, but I did a bit of research into onecoin (since reading your post) and it looks like a terrible and weirdly devised way of making money. Why would anyone give them EUR12,500 to learn how to mine and trade any crypto.

Aesthetics don't always equal quality, but the website is shabby, cheap, and crappy looking and doesn't inspire confidence in me. But in this world you never know how things turn out. If the onecoin cult members work hard and just DO NOT STOP you never know where they could get. Frightening!

This is the forth time I encounter a thread about one coin and all the replies are all negative,Onecoin has given crypto currency a bad meaning and we should enlighten people that it is purely mlm and ponzi scheme roll into one ..

Onecoin in best case is a mlm scheme (in worst case a pyramid scheme) what selling widely available information for a lot of money. I'd say stay away from it. In any mlm or pyramid scheme only the top will make money, the rest can be happy if they get away without significant losses.
