Considering how much military money is being dispersed on weapons companies, combined with selling to the public - is a money making machine. That cash in turn funds lobbying groups like the NRA who suppress sensible laws based only on commercial interests. I don't see a way out other than better education, right from the earliest ages and all the way through we should enable little Einsteins to flourish, instead of Hitlers.
