Title: How do I uninstall Bitcoin and all the files it's created?
Post by: bongrouge on June 09, 2011, 08:59:01 AM
I downloaded the latest Linux release yesterday.  I copied the 64 bit GUI app to /usr/bin and the icon to /usr/share/icons, and that's all I've done.  I deleted the rest of the archive.

How do I delete all of the files that have now ended up on my hard drive?  Like the wallet file and I don't know what else has been created.  I haven't done any transactions.

Thank you.

the wallet and everything else (blockchain, etc.) should be in ~/.bitcoin/
