Title: Multiple Addresses on Blockchain
Post by: FrederickGeek8 on January 29, 2013, 06:15:19 PM
On the website http://blockchain.info, I am able to create multiple addresses. I was wondering, when sending money, why it does not appear in the list. How do I get it to appear in the list and allow me to send bitcoins?\

You can only send bitcoins from addresses that already contain bitcoins.
If you create a new address it has no bitcoins associated with it.
If you want to use the new address you need to first send bitcoins to that address.

Assumming Address A has BTC and Address B is the one you want to send them from the move function is to send the BTC from address A to Address B.

You can use the Custom send function and specify the from address and to address. Blockchain.info also automatically recognizes it and tells you it's funds moved between wallets.
