Title: Offline storage: Alternative to Armory Post by: Rampion on March 20, 2016, 06:48:14 PM Now that Alan has stopped working on Armory, what wallet do you use for offline storage?

You're right, I misstyped Alan's name - I edited the post and corrected it. Title: Re: Offline storage: Alternative to Armory Post by: unamis76 on March 21, 2016, 01:33:25 PM Armory. Sorry, your post made it seem that changing from Armory was the obvious option :D I don't think most would switch even of development came to a halt, Armory would still be well equipped for quite some time. I'm wondering if anyone switched and why... Title: Re: Offline storage: Alternative to Armory Post by: pilardi on March 21, 2016, 09:31:54 PM I use Electrum as an offline wallet.
Instructions: http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/coldstorage.html One nice feature is that you can make an online watch-only wallet without risking your private keys. Armory allows watch-only wallets too. Title: Re: Offline storage: Alternative to Armory Post by: Rampion on May 18, 2016, 02:10:20 PM I installed Armory 0.94.1 and it works very well. Its database is now under 150MB, a huge improvement if you ask me!
