First off, let me introduce myself. I am a software/web developer. I am new to the forum, but, in no way, new to bitcoin itself. I have been a lurker of bitcoin for the past year, and I feel at has great potential as an online currency. I do not want my newness to the forum affect your opinion of me. Generate secrets (just random strings), post hash of them. Hash secret + txid, use the first bit to see heads of tails. It's that simple. As a skeptic, you are correct. I have not yet thought of a way to prove that the odds are fair. Do you have any suggestions that may help me prove its validity? On blockchain.info each block had a total send expressed in USD. The cents column can give you a number between 00 and 99. This would be kind of a cool game, if you made it a matching game, where coins on one side paid out to the other side, you would have instances were there would be imbalances and people would race each other to take the +ev bet....of course if too much came in to take advantage of this then it would happen all over again.
