Also, rails is not a language, it's a framework. if it would be some hard to find/patch vulnerabilitys that would be another thing, altough most vulnerabilitys are of plain stupidy (take the last two for example). Rails may not be as mature as something such as PHP, but it has a strong community that implements updates quickly and I believe it has the potential to be just as secure as anything else. I'm open to a discussion about development in another language/framework as well.
