Title: mt gox btc > btc client Post by: rx7yt on June 10, 2011, 12:59:39 AM i recently moved 3 btc from my mt gox account to my bitcoin client and they havnt arrived yet, its not even shwoing up as uncomfirmed. this was hours ago and i am starting to get slightly worried. is thisnormal

Essentially your wallet stores the information that proves that you own those 3 bitcoins. If you have a backup of your exported wallet, then you can import it into the new client. However if you did not make a backup of your wallet, then you should definitely undo the systems restore. It needs to be made clear that the wallet is fairly important from the start.
