Where is a good place to start investing cloud mining? And what would be the recommended starting investment for someone who is starting out?

99% of those cloudmining sites are a scam, and the ones that aren't are not always profitable... look out!

Cloud mining isn't profitable at all big chances you are never reach ROI. But if you really want to invest I think the best at the moment is Hashnest.

I think you can try invest on hashnest.com with a little money of course, and wait until return of investment because it is has high risk.good luck for your Investment.

All the cloud mining companies are scam. A ponzi.

forget about investment they will runaway your money because mostly cloud mining sites are scam don't invest to them before you regret and if you want to double your money just find another way to do so because currently it's very difficult to find the real cloud mining sites

Thank You, some mentioned investing elsewhere but didn't list any sites. I was using AvaBitcoin (I didn't deposit very much) before they shut down. I lost about $5 which I'm not to worried about but didn't know if there were other sites similar to it.

cloudmining is just a waste of time. I have invested 0.01 btc in www.cloudmining.website. after 2 months I am still waiting for my payment. :(
if you want to invest invest your money in altcoin trading which is very profitable now adays. or just keep hold your btc as the halving is just 3 months away.

I think almost everybody tried investing on it in the beginning. But it's just waste of time and money. If you don't have any services to offer, just earn with signature campaigns and enjoy it.

Investiments are very risk, you must think very well before doing one, but i can assure you that clound mining is out of cogitation.

As others has said already, most cloud mining sites will turn into scam site even though there are some sites that can stay alive for years.

Agreed.This is the one of the question that newbies always drag down in the forum.Before making deposit always check about the site.If it is a cloud mining site always ask them questions regarding their mining proof.And if they are ignoring your messages and emails then it will scam later.As a investor you have right to ask where your btc is getting invetsed or where it is going.Well since most of the cloud mining are ponzis I recommend you guys to but some online has rates and point it to pool and start up provided if you have enough btc to buy minimum hash rate

Honestly scammers are very smart right now and i think even you check it all and all are clear.. but they are still run away with our money.. better to stay away from them because why they are start a business like this i they have a machine to mine bitcoin.. Think first before you invest your money why they start the business?Or what is the purpose?

Unfortunately, this is correct, no cloud mining is legit and profitable at the same time. There s one exception, DMD Diamond cloud. However, it takes about 18 months to reach ROI. The link is under my avatar.

You should get more familiar with this forum and when you reach Jr.Member after 1 month or so you can join the Yobit signature campaign, this way you can earn money while posting without risking anything, and cloud mining are not worthy these days, with 99% of them being ponzi scams. i already not trust with cloud mining because too many they are a ponzi scheme if you interested to invest in cloud mining maybe you can try in invest at hashflare.

We cannot deny that most of the cloud mining services will end up scam. But there is some who is also profitable like what I am joining right now. It is already a year that I make profits with it. So, i think you could try hashocean and genesis mining.

There will be a block reward halving in July. Keep that in mind. I guess most of the scams will collapse right then or right before.

I am always wondering why a cloudmining service would need my Bitcoins.
They already have the hardwear, otherwise they could not mine.
Profitable companies can get money on the market for much lower interests than Cloud Mining services offer their users.
So what they need me for? Why they do that?

It alwys ends up that my earnings decrease below the fees they charge befor the return of investment level is reached.

Hashocean is a good way. There are some other ways (HYIP)

Investing in a HYIP is not a good way either, as it might get offline any day and you won't even see what you had some day before...
And about cloud mining, I would say that you should rather go for Genesis-mining but it will need some good investment, or you should just leave your idea opting for the same, instead you may mine yourself with an S7 which are currently being sold at ~70% of the prices they were being sold at...

Be prepared that one day they will run away with your money, its a "ponzi".

Cloudmining is just a scam atleast 98% of the sites claiming to give cloud mining service are just a hyip which pay till they get new investors. Beware of those cloudmining service as they target mostly people new to bitcoin and bitcoin mining.

Topmine.io is also a great cloudmining service. I am getting a profits now from the comissions of my referrals. They offer 5 currencies to mine (bitcoin, dogecoin, litecoin, dashcoin and etheium) you can also mine USD. You will receive 5terax after sign up and realtime payment proofs .

Topmine.io is the newest ponzi scam in town, 1 month old, basically you are giving to the wolf sheeps without limit (referrals) in this case. Stay away from promoting it clearly or else established members of this forum will tag you in red. Topmine.io was offline during their first week, claiming they were hacked, this only means they are scams. Stop giving them new investors as the new investors keeps prolonging this scam in time before they run with user money.

Sorry for this one. I just shared that i recently received a payment from them. But if you think or experienced scam by this site, well i will have to stop promoting this site to other members, but still I will continue to use this because for now, i still receive payment from them. Hash flare looks good... doing some calculations you need 6 months to pay your investment and after that you'll get profit of it

there is several legit cloud mining sites, but to get ROI from them is too hard and maybe you will needed about 1 year or more to take back your investment. others "cloud mining" sites which are more profitable and getting ROI is easier, arenot legit and almost all of them are ponzi and no one know when will they become scammed, so be careful and think twice before make investment

Some "legit"contract minings like lifetime are impossible to get investiment back if the Site doesn't make some alterations later. At some point the mining income is lowest than the fees to pay. ROI in 1 year is a very optimist vision hehe
