Bootstrapping into the network could be done better and more decentralized then. And ofcourse, just because I2P is cool by design somewhat, like bitcoin. Title: Re: why not embed i2p? It is good practice not to make things more complicated than they need to be. Not everyone wants/needs strong anonymity that something like i2p might provide.
