Offering high reward and buy a ticket 1.26 BTC to join  :( This is true ?
High ticket prices may be less people interested in participating in this tournament

Lol, that's some mega massive bitcoin poker tournament if I ever saw one. Too bad it's out of my reach, I mean 1.26BTC to join  :D

They have satellite tournaments that you can get in for as little as $2 (0.00448600 BTC) to win a seat in the big game.  ;)

It's a rebuy tourney for the first 5 hours. That's a little upsetting.

Betcoin tournaments are in USD, but they accept bitcoin as a substitute. I image all payouts are in USD in it would be a hassle to be paid out. Most fiat based gambling sites require sending ID and other things. I assume betcoin would act the same for withdrawal purposes.

At betcoin ALL deposits and cashouts are done in Bitcoin.

What do you expect when you try to get in for the cheapest.

They have satellite games from $2 up to $60 to get into this huge main event game.

I think you can play on your phone but not 100% sure.

Pretty standard for a GTD garanteed tourney.
It would actually be upsetting if it wasn't. Imagine you bust early on and you can't join back in, effectively missing out on a 1M prize pool.

Dammit, I'm going to be out of town all weekend. Really would have liked to get going on the satellites. Even if it's just the cheap side tournies, it's fun to technically be playing for a piece of the million. Oh well, maybe next time will be better timing for me.

Rebuys are a whole different beast. Every Sunday PokerStars has a $215 buy-in 1M guarantee tournament. There is no rebuy. The problem with rebuys is as follows. If you only have enough for 1 buy-in you are severely disadvantaged.

Rebuy tournaments allow 1 rebuy right at the start, allowing people with money to double their starting chip stack. So if I buy in once, and you buy in twice, I'll start with 10,000 chips and you'll start with 20,000 chips. That's before cards are even dealt. That sucks.

Then at the end of the rebuy period they allow an Add-On. Anyone can pitch in another buy-in for another 10,000 chips. So really, if we both play and don't really if we each break even through 5 hours and you do the rebuy and the add-on, I'll only have 10,000 chips vs your 30,000 chips.

The chip stack and blind ratios are also very different in rebuy tournaments.

I understand people's fascination with big bitcoin prize pools, but understanding poker helps too. This tournament will be verrrry expensive to have any sort of decent shot in. I'd expect poker pros to be putting in upwards of 10 btc each. Standard rebuy strategy, assuming you have the bankroll, is to just go all-in in many hands early and look to build a big chip stack.

That is true for "rebuy" games but this tournament is a "reentry" game so you can buy back in if you get cracked out but you can not buy more chips when you start and they do not have an "addon" option later in the game.

Here is a screen of the game lobby right now. (You can see they have cheap satellite tournaments running for as low as $2)

You can't compare the Sunday Million to this. Pokerstars has so many players it's very safe for them to run this tourney without rebuys.
And yes, playing a rebuy tourney with only one bullet isn't very smart.

And I've never heard of a "go all in everytime" strategy with multiple buy ins being good.

ok $1,000,000 USD prize pool may sound pretty great but risking more than 1BTC for it will be worth? I would take part in the satellite tournament to get for myself a seat to the big game ;D good luck everybody!

I think this is a big enough Prize and worth only quantities offered for signing up is very large, I think that will follow the tournament poker in Betcoin are those who have been very professional play poker. So I can only watch to see who wins and tries to approach someone who join in order to get the science they have and then in the future I will try to follow in the next tournament. Great gift requires considerable cost to join.

Today is "Game Day"!  8)

The big game starts at 4:00 pm EST

The game will still have late registration for 5 hours (until 9:00 pm EST)

NOTE:
They are about to run a special "150 Seat GTD Satellite Tournament" With A $88 Buyin (0.2 BTC)

I am not in the big game but I will be watching the game for a bit. I like to watch the chip leader throughout the game.

I will also try to get in the next million dollar tournament.

This is very nice tournament, but buy in for me is to big. If I can't re buy couple times then its no purpose to seat at all.
I like betcoin.ag they tournament offer is amazing, tournaments with kow buy in abd big prizes.
Now fortunejack have something similar, you should go to check out.
I wish good luck to all players, let the best win.

Damn it really sounds like an awesome tourney with a huge prizepool. To be honest the buy-in is not that much for a huge tourney such as this. Would have gladly played it but offline obligations got the better of me.

This tournament runs about every three months on average.  There have been some instances where they have ran several of them in a row however.  It's my favorite tournament because there are several way's to get into them.  Not only are there cheap satellites by which one can gain entry but there are also several totally free tournament satellites one can take advantage of to gain entry.  I can't wait for the next one!

TIP: Start playing the satellites as early as possible to increase your odds of gaining entry into the big one!

I love this game and the site is my favorite over any other bitcoin casino/poker site.
