Title: ASICMINER AUCTION 2000 sahres.
Post by: El Cabron on February 17, 2013, 04:09:56 AM
TL;DR  2000 AsicMiner auction @ .38 BTC

Hello all,

I pretty much want to copy what Zefir has done here  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=142038.0

I will be selling 2000 of my AsicMiner shares. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.0

Bids need to start at .38 and go up by multiples of .01
You must bid in blocks that are divisible by 25  (ex, 25, 50, 100, 1375, 2000)
I'd like you to post in the thread but PM's are fine if you are an established member and want to be anon.
You must pay the escrow account with in 24 hours of receiving the BTC address. I am open as to who we use as escrow.

Auction starts now and ends (Tuesday, 2013-02-19 14:00 UTC). This can be extended if for example the bitcointalk.org server keeps crashing and no one can bid. I will be the judge if the auction needs to be extended but I hope that it will not be needed.

I also keep the right to cancel the auction for any reason. Sales will be final only once the BTC reaches escrow.

As many of you know I had a harsh last year and many if not all of my investments turned out to be bad. This sale of a portion of my shares will ensure a bit of finical stability for my family in the coming months.  I have high confidence that ASICMiner will do very well and I am not selling even half of my shares.

Friedcat knows about this auction and my shares have been confirmed. I will give him a list of who now holds the current shares and I hope he will automatically send them to you when they are listed on the exchange. If not, I will have to send them to you myself.

I will not get the escrowed money until you have the shares. Please if you are trusted in the community and wish to act as an escrow please contact me ASAP!

Local rules, you must stay on topic. If you want to ask off topic questions please PM me.

Thank you, Goat

We missed you around, goat.

PS: I can act as the escrow if  needed - I've done over 20 transactions as an escrow holder now.

I would hope with the doubts raised about your trustworthiness in the other thread you would be open to the option of a buyer picking a trustworthy escrow, no?  Not taking any sides, but I'm always hesitant when one side chooses an escrow immediately, and doubly so when the trustworthiness of the individual is called into question.

I understand you are new here but no. John is more than fine and trusted. Zefir did not question my trustworthiness only that sales should be made with trusted escrow, a point that I highly agree with. If you do not trust John than please do not buy. I highly doubt you would be able to find someone willing that the community trusts more than John.

I should not have let unestablished/unknown members participate in the auction but I guess it is too late to change the rules.

Best of luck.

I would hope with the doubts raised about your trustworthiness in the other thread [...]

Dear goat, dear interested bidders,

I am sorry that my comment was understood in an unintended direction. That's what I posted in my auction thread:
Ah, that's Chaang who also posted his offer in IRC. He is going to sell those 2k only as a whole.

Just in case you have not been in the Bitcoin community for at least half a year, it is worth to check his history (which is long and fascinating) before you take that offer. Not going to post allegations here, just saying that whoever does should insist on escrow (that anyhow should become a general rule).

Writing it at the ending time of my auction I did not cross-read it before posting and failed to realize that it can be interpreted in a wrong way. Now it is there and can't be edited any more (auction forum rule). Reality is, I did some business with goat (or Chaang) in the past and he was one of the few that always kept his word.

The reason I put my note was a) the one bidding for my shares was a newbie, and b) that when I tried to contact Chaang not long ago, his account was banned from bitcointalk, so I assumed something went wrong behind the curtains. Now this is not the case anymore, if there were disputes they are obviously gone and I need to say sorry for raising dust  :-[.

Zefir clarified, so my apologies, and I meant no offense to John.  My suspicions were aroused based on how I saw the whole thing unfold, and Zefir's comment.  I take what I said back.

Just to clarify that Chaang Noi was banned by theymos for repeated off-topic trollings, and was reinstated. I only knew that he was unbanned after he posted this thread, and my post above was to welcome him back as he was an active on the forums and IRC last year.

As for my part here, I've acted as an escrow holder for some time privately, and I've recently begun to offer my services publicly for tips. I've held funds from others amounting to over a thousand BTC now, and I'm not going anywhere soon.

PS: Scamming does not constitute a ban - only trolling/spamming does. *looks at smoothie  ::)*

I would like to make a small change to the auction. I would like to avoid snipers and would like to extend the the end time of the auction for 30 mins after the last bid. This means the auction will not end until there has been 30 mins with no new bids.

This should stop someone from getting all the shares at the last second.

Also about the past drama that has entered this thread you can read about it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144614.0

Zefir thank you for clearing up the confusion but you are 100% correct to recommend escrow always be used. Even though I am "trusted" my account could have been hacked or taken over. Always be safe and trust no one!

Thanks guys.

Because that's what the market rate is this week, there are a number of threads selling at higher prices.

Well anyway, back to the original question: Goat, why are you offering them at .38 when they were originally purchased at .1? What makes these 2000 shares so special that they require a 380% markup?

My auction is still running in another thread and ASICMINER shares are currently going for 0.44BTC each, so please allow me to take the ball and answer your question.

When friedcat offered participation in his venture 6+ months ago, this was not more than a bet whether he could compete with the established players. Assume at that times you invested money in ASICMINER, BFL, Avalon and bASIC equally to diversify your risk. Today, ASICMINER won the race (ok, Avalon delivered first, but not to us mortals) and that's why you are asked to pay 300% risk surcharge - thats what you pay to someone else taking the risk for you.

Right, I understand that...but that's surely not the only aspect going into this evaluation?

At 12TH/s (their starting projection before ramping up to 50TH/s or more), it's 30MH/s per share (400,000 shares). These 2000 shares up for offer are worth 60GH/s...in August 2012 (at IPO price of .1BTC), it was worth 200BTC, or $2,000 (at roughly $10 per BTC back then).

So now you're telling me that 6 months of risk (and BTC rallying) has resulted in $2,000 in shares suddenly becoming worth $20,500? [2000 shares x .38BTC minimum valuation x $27 USD/BTC]
Even at 50TH/s, it's only 125MH/s per share...2000 of which would result in 250GH/s. In my mind, I simply can't justify how that could be worth a minimum of 760 Bitcoins, even when factoring in risk...

Clearly there's something I'm missing...or maybe people bidding for these shares haven't done their math yet?

A number of factors:

At 0.1 BTC / share, there was significant risk - development problems for example, and nobody could predict if ASICMINER will be the first to market (they are definitely beating avalon's ASIC trickle).

The BTC price rally is a null point - higher BTC worth means that mining companies will make more USD income, and vice versa.

You're missing a whole bunch of things.  Here's the most obvious:

People aren't investing for the 12 TH/s they have now.  That would be like me claiming people investing in your mining company are investing for the ZERO TH/s you have now.

The investment is for the long-term value.  Where I disagree with you (and I KNOW we disagree - as you wouldn't have started your company if you agreed) is that I believe in the medium to long-term only companies with a significant edge of some kind will be able to make a profit from BTC mining.   That's because the barrier to entry to mining is so low that all the time it's profitable to do, more people will keep getting in.  And even when it becomes unprofitable more will STILL come in - those doing it for fun, those with an inability to do math and those running mining companies who take a cut of revenue and pass the losses on to investors.

Manufacturing your own ASICs is about the biggest such edge possible - when hardware costs 10% of what it costs competitors you have a massive advantage.  Add to that Chinese power/labour costs and you have a company that there's just no way the likes of you can compete against - they can mine profitably long after you're making a loss.

Not only do investors get that mining - but also a share of profits from sales to the mathematically challenged who mine or who run mining companies selling investment to those with even less ability in math.

That's what's being sold.

Oh - and if you DO want to look at just the first 12 GH/s, do remember that the 200k BitFountain get nothing until the other shares (the type being sold here) have got back their initial 0.1 BTC.  That adds just over .05 BTC to the value alone.

I think the majority of the valuation comes from the fact that profits (and dividends along with it) are going to enormous until both Avalon and BFL kick it into gear, combined with the long term prospects (assuming ASICMiner continues to develop more advanced hardware as the years go on).

That said, I still agree with you on pretty much all the points made..and I, personally, value long term investments quite a bit more. But I do know most Bitcoin investors tend to have a short attention span, which is why I kept my company's mining fund more on the medium term :D ..the security that starts after the bond holders are paid back is the long term part of my company ;)

Anyway, I digressed. TL;DR - I see the points made, and although I agree that they add value I am still wary about the price tag for such a valuation.

Thanks for laying it out there, Deprived :)

I'm starting to wonder if BFL never ships and Avlon never ships how many BTC will ASICMiner have in a year?

Avalon clearly is having issues with it's first batch (like only a prototype) and BFL is always 4 to 6 weeks (no prototype)?

Hmm...

Well...
May be you think anybody can bid 2К for 1 BTC per share (or more realistic 0.6-0.7) and at the last moment say "All old bids are now void"?
Of course no!
But if you want...
250 @ 0.38 # 14
150 @ 0.38 # 28
225 @ 0.41 # 53
And do not forget that 14 and 28 were outbid when I was making 53.

Please, do not do it next time. You have changed post numbers which define bids priority order. It is very easy to restore order, but anyone (me :) ) can make mistake after such changes.

This is a  Auctions thread. You can't edit posts. And moderators can't do it too, I think...
Oh..oops, sorry for all the posts. Meant to edit my first one, but it appears the "edit" button is missing...  :-\

Mods, feel free to delete this post and the one before it with just the quote.

Ha, yeah so I noticed :-\

Well anyway, back to the original question: Goat, why are you offering them at .38 when they were originally purchased at .1? What makes these 2000 shares so special that they require a 380% markup?
Yes, mods can still delete posts in this section. Please use the 'report to moderators' option next time to inform us.

Okay the normal time for this auction has ended. You now have the opportunity to make a bid 30 mins from the last bid. That was at XX:46:56  So you have about 15 mins to make a new bid.

Thank you.

I am going to call it. Escrow contract is coming soon.

Keep in mind you are not forced to use escrow. You can pay me directly and we can have our own contract.

Also if you do not like the contract do not pay, just let me know. I am not going to force you to do something you do not want.

However if you pay that means you consent to the rules of the contract so read it!

Thank you.

Title: Re: ASICMINER AUCTION 2000 sahres.
Post by: El Cabron on February 19, 2013, 02:35:44 PM
Here is the contract. You will each get a PM with your specific address.

Asic-Miner auction and escrow contract.

Please read the following carefully and please ask any questions BEFORE sending any bitcoin. Sending bitcoin means you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms please do NOT send bitcoin and message me that you no longer wish to have the shares. There is no punishment for rejecting this contract other than not having the ability to claim shares.

You will need to send BTC to your address found at the lower part of the contract. This address is the escrow address and it is being held by John(JohntheDong). If you do not trust John and do not wish to use him as escrow we can make the trade without escrow.

You are buying my claimed ASICMiner shares.

Once I have the shares I will send them to John and he will thus send them to you. This will be done because it is hard to prove to John that I did send out the shares if I send them directly.

Assuming this can not happen Friedcat will have to directly and publicly hand out the shares to the buyer.

Once John has the shares the BTC must be released to me to one of the following address. I will tell John what address I wish the coins sent to at the time. Using more than one address lets me have a wallet destroyed with out losing the coins.

13twB8MBNxbjMDvHrXdyh15T2ZKfsEhz8g

1Au1PEH71fsKfhgHSGN77CmH9tVmURriAY

1NShakJyWU5cBtrdGbRYyJzzE1KJTM1jPo

Because you are buying the claimed shares, if something unfortunate should happen and the shares are never sent to me BTC can not be refunded. You can not get a refund for acts of God or something outside of my control. If friedcat was hit by a bus, or if the Internet in China goes off line forever this is not in my control. If friedcat sends out the shares later than 19th April for any reason, I reserve the right to request and obtain the escrowed Bitcoins from John. I will still be obligated to send to john if I ever receive them in the future.

John only has the option to return BTC to the buyers if and only if I refuse to send the shares I have received to John.

To avoid coins being locked in escrow forever at anytime and for any reason a buyer or myself can give permission to release the funds to the other party. John will have to make sure you are the true owner so please only send funds from an address you hold. Do not send funds from a Mt. Gox address for example.

If John feels the need for a 3rd party to assist him in making a decision John, Myself and the buyers must agree on who that third party is. We must have 100% consent from all involved if there is any variation from this contract.

Even if the coins are lost or destroyed  even by an act of God John has the obligation to pay in full. John by participating in this escrow agrees to receive a scammers tag if he does not pay the coins back 100% with in 2 weeks after the criteria for the transfer of the BTC has been met.

Because it is your option to use escrow I will not send the shares if it is public knowledge that John is unable to release the BTC. If John is hit by a bus or whatever you must take that risk when you take the option to use escrow.

By sending coins to your address you agree to the terms of this contract.

You payment address is XXXXXXSSSXXXXSSXXX

Please make sure the address in your contract is the same address as the one John listed in the Auction thread.

Reminder: John(JohntheDong) is providing this escrow service for no charge and is taking personal risk to do so. Please do not forget to send him a tip. Please use the BTC address found in his sig NOT the address you are making payments to.

I agree to the statement above, and please note that on the event friedcat chooses to list on MPOE I am excusing myself to hold the shares from Chaang Noi (the details can be discussed if this unfortunately occurs) due to the fees involved in creating an account there. I'm already providing a low cost service for the time and risks involved, and I certainly don't want to pay the fees involved.  ;)

Thank you everyone.

There's a part I'm not sure I understand:

Quote
Because you are buying the claimed shares, if something unfortunate should happen and the shares are never sent to me BTC can not be refunded. You can not get a refund for acts of God or something outside of my control. If friedcat was hit by a bus, or if the Internet in China goes off line forever this is not in my control. If friedcat sends out the shares later than 19th April for any reason, I reserve the right to request and obtain the escrowed Bitcoins from John. I will still be obligated to send to john if I ever receive them in the future.

I'm OK with my BTC being yours if something happens to your shares. But I'd like to be sure that johnthedong won't release my BTC after 19th April unless you provide proof that you own the shares. I don't see how this can happen if friedcat is hit by a bus.

To make it clear: until friedcat has properly verified the transfer of the shares that should become mine either to me or to the escrow, you should be the one assuming the risks of them disappearing, not me (I don't have any proof that you are indeed in a position to sell me the amount of shares promised).

Quote
To avoid coins being locked in escrow forever at anytime and for any reason a buyer or myself can give permission to release the funds to the other party. John will have to make sure you are the true owner so please only send funds from an address you hold. Do not send funds from a Mt. Gox address for example.

With these conditions it seems to me that the buyers assume all the risks of friedcat disappearing before the transfer can be validated even if they use escrow (the buyer can't claim the BTC back him/herself if the deal can not go on).

Is there something I didn't understand?

You are assuming that risk. This is a sale now!   Let us say that in a month it is clear that BFL and Avalon fail and ASICMiner is the only ASIC comapny for the next year. The stock will go up to 4 BTC maybe more. I am taking this risk of that not happening by selling it to you now at .04X. You are taking the risk something does not happen like a bus accident.   I will not let the coins just sit in escrow forever or I lose out becasue of an act of God. This is a sale now, not an option to buy later if everything works out for you.

If you do not really want to buy them that is fine. There is no way to I can guarantee to give you something I do not have. I am acting in good faith here, you must as well. You are buying my verified claim.

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks

The BTC is not released before the shares get sent to me (and sent to the buyers), unless friedcat goes MIA, or Goat does not receive the shares for some reason.( and is able to prove that conclusively) Friedcat's default is a risk to the buyers, much like the risk incurred when one buy BFL or another ASIC's preorder spot.

It's 12AM here, so there might be some flaws in my reasoning though.

I'm OK with a default from Friedcat. What I'm worried about is that friedcat seems quite busy these days and I don't know him well enough to know if he will be around to confirm that Goat really has 2000+ shares before April the 19th. Currently I only have Goat's word that he owns the shares. You use escrow when you think you can't afford to trust the other party. Escrow isn't any good for me if there's a situation (friedcat not answering until April the 19th) where Goat can sell me shares he never owned.

But you said :
Quote
or Goat does not receive the shares for some reason.( and is able to prove that conclusively)

This imply that if friedcat disappears before having acknowledged publicly that Goat's share are real, Goat won't be able to prove anything about his shares and I'll get my BTC back. If we agree on that then there's no problem.

In fact when biding I thought there was an existing confirmation from friedcat somewhere:

Friedcat knows about this auction and my shares have been confirmed.
If there really is one confirmation somewhere I can read then there is no problem.

Hmm.. that's a good point. Yes, Goat will need to prove his stake of the shares involved either via friedcat's statement or otherwise to have this risk transferred to the buyer.

I have the confirmation in e-mail. I guess the question is do you trust me enough and how long do you think it will take Friedcat.   Honestly I would rather not sell the shares than to risk it sitting in escrow forever. You do not have to buy. You can walk away and no one will judge you.

Honestly I do not mind keeping the shares and if I wanted to sell them to someone else I'm sure I can find a buyer.

However I will publish my e-mails if Friedcat is hit by a bus and I will give access to John to my g-mail account so he can see them first hand. This should be pretty solid I would think.

Thanks.

Thank you for running this auction.

I don't want to seem to be nitpicky. But here is the issue:

HorseRider's bid number was #103. 300 shares at 0.42.
Mine was #104. 100 shares at 0.42.
Vezunchik's was #105. 300 shares at 0.42.

In post number #110, I read that other bids have pushed my bid number #104 off the list.
And so I make a new bid, bid number #111. 100 shares at 0.43.

And then I find that because of issues with communication, someone who was behind me on the list is getting shares at a cost less than me anyways.

Please consider my bid #104 instead of #111. The issue is only 1 bitcoin. But things as they stand now don't seem right to me.

If there really is one confirmation somewhere I can read then there is no problem.

Thanks.

That should be pretty conclusive as the email headers and the content would be a quite good proof.

In order to not mess this up more than it is I will sell to both Vezunchik and HorseRider.   I can part with an extra 150 shares.

Yes, please send 1 BTC less. :)

Sadly that is not the way the contract is stated. I will just do it to keep my reputation. I have worked hard to be so trusted.  You need to decide before you send the coins if you trust me or not.

The contract does not say I need to prove that I have a claim, but I will do it never the less.

Thank you.

Yes, Goat will need to prove his stake of the shares involved either via friedcat's statement or otherwise to have this risk transferred to the buyer.

Fantastic, 31.5 BTC sent for 75 shares at 0.42 BTC. Tip sent your way too.

I prepared this reply when I paid, long before the stream of following replies and had to try twice again to make it go through.

John has the coins because I trust him. I'm willing to trust Goat given he has publicly stated that he will provide proof to John if needed. Goat: I understand rewording a contract is not trivial, but given that I pointed out a loophole and that you value your reputation I think this would be in your best interest to close the loophole by explicitly accepting Johnthedong arbitration on this (this is why we use escrow services after all).

This is why we have contracts. A post in the forum can not change a contract. I do not need to prove anything but I will do so willingly to keep my reputation in the highly unlikely event freidcat can not be contacted.

Thank you for your understanding.

Can't understand what does it means:

300 @ 0.42 # 106
100 @ 0.43 # 106.1

OR

I think first - there is now word "update" or rise... But anyway - I can't understand how Chaang Noi (Goat) made his table of winners. Where is my mistake? What means 63 about me and so?

Title: Re: ASICMINER AUCTION 2000 sahres.
Post by: wachtwoord on February 19, 2013, 10:08:05 PM

Quote
Friedcat knows about this auction and my shares have been confirmed.
If there really is one confirmation somewhere I can read then there is no problem.

Thanks.

Also from the OP

Friedcat knows about this auction and my shares have been confirmed. I will give him a list of who now holds the current shares and I hope he will automatically send them to you when they are listed on the exchange. If not, I will have to send them to you myself.

Okay I am posting here publicly instead of via PM because I think this might apply to everyone. The contract as it is now implies that if you never owned the shares to begin with, John should still release the shares to you. Of course I cannot agree with that.

There are two solutions of which I prefer E1:

E1) Get Friedcat to confirm you own he shares and can sell ownership here
E2) Amend the contract so it states that before John can release the coins to you E1 must have occurred. Further, if you cannot provide either the shares or E1 before 19th April, the deal is void and John is to send the coins back to me (the buyer).

I do not mind assuming the risk of ASICMINER going bust (e.g. Friedcat going AWOL), as this is the normal result of becoming a shareholder. I do object to the possibility of the proceeds for the shares being paid out without you either (i) sending the shares or (ii) proving you actually own the shares.

I hope this will not cause any issues :)

Vezunchik, now you are confusing me. Can an independent party parse this thread for the correct final winners? Or is Goat just going to settle discrepancies with extra shares to sell?

I've already sold some assets to free up the coins for my 100 shares, and would like to make sure I'm not wasting my time and some margin.

I do agree with your points and were I to start over I would have included something like the e-mail being sent to John in the contract. However I am not going to redo the contract and most people have no issue with it. There is no punishment for backing out of the auction and I do not mind. I 100% understand where you are coming from.

The OP says you must pay within 24 hours. However I will extend this to when I wake up in the morning. That will be around 8:00 AM Thailand time. (in about 19 hours)

If I can not see the coin by then, you no longer have a claim.

Also IRC #1 turned out to be a troll so if anyone is interested in 750 shares please let me know.

Thank you.

Wow 2000 shares huh?

No wonder you wanted to thread-jack.

So what's going to happen if you never receive those ASICminer shares?

I'm sure you're planning on refunding all these nice people right?

So what exactly is different from your scam than mine?

Because some guy confirmed an email?!?

I'd have NO PROBLEM doing that.  After all, that is some kind of escrow!

I have very good reason to suspect you will not receive the shares. My recommendation is that everyone should use escrow unless they trust the buyer very highly. Having someone look at an e-mail is NOT escrow.

Thank you and please everyone trade safe use trusted escrow!

Now, what is your plan should you not receive those 2000 shares?

Oh and you live in Thailand right?

Just thinking out loud, since you came and shat all over my thread.

Oh and you live in Thailand right?

I live in the USA.

Which country do you think would enforce accountability for a bitcoin-related scam?

Neither.

My bid 300 @ 0.42 # 105 must be in winners list. - mistake.
You didn't found mistakes in my table. So you winers table was made in wrong way. - mistake.

If anyone finds a mistake please tell me specifically what that is and I will try to deal with that fairly.

Thank you.

There are a lot of independent members here, but no one wants make a look for bid list. You may do it by yourself - just search for ("@" OR "PM") in this thread.

Right because you want to do a $100,800 trade WITHOUT escrow

Go scam someone else.
Your math skills appear to need some freshening.

Who is scamming here?

Goat has already sold, what, 1250 shares of something he doesn't have posession of?

Yet I was immediately accused of being a scammer when my history on this board has clearly shown otherwise.  Furthermore,  I have provided more proof of ownership than this so-called "hero".

But continue on.  It's ironically obvious the bitcoin lemming community prefers to support the con-men and crooks as opposed to those that have proven themselves honest and trustworthy.

Really?

What/who?

A moderator of an internet forum?

I'll be sure to keep an eye on this thread since you have somehow convinced the lemmings I am a scammer.  Where is your feedback and positive transaction history?

Here may be the cause for miscommunication.

Chaang Noi only lists the bids that are still in contention to win the shares.
Vezunchik doesn't see all the bids he has made in the list and feels something went wrong.

Because a lot of other auctioners create a list where all bids are mentioned - and there is a line between the bids that are still in contention and the bids that have dropped off.

I don't get the drama about escrow. Hopefully I didn't misjudge as I have already paid anyway, but please tell me what I'm overseeing here (if I did):

Goat can proove he's got the shares and is allowed to auction them (friedcat confirmed).
friedcat is in controle of the shares anyway.

We have proof of our winning bids and payments...so friedcat will surely "transfer" the shares to us anyway?
Escrow actually adds risk: If John gets hit by a bus (please don't ever do!) the coins might really be lost.

Goat has said that friedcat confirmed his ownership of the shares, but I have not seen that quoted anywhere thus far.

I could be wrong but I don't think wachtwoord's problem with the deal was the escrow itself, rather the innocuous way the contract was worded.

Personally I have placed my trust in the reliability and trustworthiness of John to act as escrow agent.

Guys, let me send a list to friedcat for this auction as everyone who will paid has paid.

For people who used escrow because of the escrow contract friedcat will have to make it public that he has already transferred the shares to you or I will not a approve the transfer.
for people that did not use escrow I will let friedcat know you are clear but would still ask him if he would post a confirmation in this thread.

Generating list, be right back.

This e-mail was just sent to friedcat. I hope that he will respond in the threads soon.

I will be traveling with my family starting in a few hours and will return Monday night Thailand time. I will have limited Internet but I should be able to come on line from time to time. If there are delays do not get worried.

Thank you.

Hello friedcat,

I know you are a very busy man and I was not going to trouble you with this but you seem to want confirmation of the trades.

I have had two different auctions to sell about 2000 to 2200 of my shares of ASICMiner. The first auction is completed.

This is the list of the results of the first auction.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144574.msg1548245#msg1548245

Once you approve can you please make a post in the thread stating they have been transferred so escrow can be released.

The second auction can be found here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144574.msg1548245#msg1548245

These transaction have been fully paid for and can now receive their shares.

HorseRider with 400 shares
Betatester with 50 shares

The rest wish to use escrow and have not paid the escrow at this time.

If there is anything you need from them, like e-mail or btc address for dividends please feel free to request this sort of information in my thread.

I will update you as soon as more trades are paid for or the escrow is completed

I wish to keep my remaining unsold shares and I am very optimistic in ASICMiner.

Thank you very much for you assistance.

Kind regards -Goat-

1NShakJyWU5cBtrdGbRYyJzzE1KJTM1jPo

That address would be great for these 63 btc. I was not able to get home after all.

Thanks.

Thanks for the smooth transaction!

Confirmed! Thanks John.

Everyone else, once you send your info to friedcat and all is well please tell John. I do not want to have to wait 2 months to get the funds:)

Thanks
PS: is that address acceptable for other transactions too? Just to skip the hassle of PM-ing you to confirm which address I should send to as the safe's fairly far away.  ;D

I guess that is fine unless I give notice in the future. This wallet is the least safe but I have it with me. I will change in about 12 hours however assuming I make it off this island!

Thanks

I made a mistake on my list. HorseRider paid for 250 shares in this auction and I only credited him with 100. I will adjust this and message friedcat.

Thank you.

Great, I'll be contacting Goat enquire about which address should I use again. If everyone's shares have been confirmed, it would be better if I could release everything in one go.

I have asked John to hold onto the coins for 24 hours or so just so we can do this all at once.

Thanks.

I have received 1 Satoshi per share to my bitcoin address that I had sent to friedcat - as per their test payment.
So I guess this confirms that I have received 300 shares.

I'll send along a tip to John (johnthedong) as soon as the first dividend payments have gone through.

Thank you.

it is a large and odd transaction and I doubt he paid much of a fee if any at all:)

Don't worry about it, its not like you can spend that .000001 BTC:)

Talk to friedcat and everyone has the shares but yamaka with 50 shares.

This was my fault (did not send his name to friedcat) and I have contact yamaka and asked for a BTC address to send the dividends to.

All escrow should be released other than yamaka. friedcat says he will move it soon, but it has not been done yet.

Thank you.
