Two reference 7970 cards, one MSI and one Sapphire. I've been mining with them since I bought them last year, and they've been nothing but a pleasure to work with. Looking for £240 each shipped in the UK, payment in BTC, which is going to be around 14BTC depending on what happens with the price of bitcoin. I will provide a discount if they are purchased together. There will be an extra shipping charge if someone wishes to buy them from outside the UK.

They've been running at 930Mhz clock, 800Mhz memory and default voltages. Temperatures have been kept in the low 70s with fans hovering around 50% depending on ambient temperature.

EDIT: I also have a Corsair AX1200 to sell, which has also done sterling service powering the above cards and others in its time. Would be looking for 9BTC shipped, though it will be powering the above cards until they are sold either here or later on eBay. Second card (the MSI) sold for 11BTC, also to PatMan, payable to the same address but only a week or two from now. Should payment for the second card not be received by 18th March (i.e. three weeks from now), I will make that card available again. We are agreeing on how much should be paid for this second card in BTC, regardless of the value of BTC at that time.

I just bought one from mrb for 152 GBP (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=122187.0) including shipping to europe, so you might want to adjust your price.

Is the PSU in good condition? Dust? And does it come with all accessories, cables and manuals?

Ordering from the US, you're rolling the dice on being stung by VAT to the tune of 20% though.


PSU is in good condition and has been cleaned out with compressed air on a regular basis (every 2-3 months) for the nine months I've had it. It's boxed, and is supplied with all of the cables and manuals.

Just received the second 7970 from area and once again it's first class.

I can highly recommend area as a genuine and honest seller - a pleasure to do business with and an all round bloody good bloke.

I also have to commend PatMan as a man of his word. We agreed on a price in BTC for the two cards, to be paid in two parts. Despite the value of BTC going from ~$33 to ~$47 in the time between the two payments, he did not renege on the deal - indeed, by the time of the second instalment, he probably could have found a 7970 new for the BTC, but stuck to our agreement.

I look forward to the opportunity to deal with PatMan again.
