DO you think that Bitcoin will cross $550 in the end of May. because now bitcoin's price is going very fast so may be in the end of May bitcoin will be reached at $550 ?

yes! i think it will continue on the current path to reach $550 soon

In my opinion May will be a good month of 2016, as the price is expected to touch $500 on this month.

In my opinion , we won't be going anywhere above 480$ this month. June & July in the other hand is another story (because of the halving).

I think the price is at stable this coming May since it is already a few days have past that the price is at stable. Maybe it will touch $500 at the month of June or July.

I think the price of Bitcoin will increase at least to $500 in May and hopefully more. I think people will start to move their investments back into Bitcoin and the pump will start to get more serious near the end of the month.

In May, we might see the release of the SegWit Core wallet. We might see the price to be stable over $500.

i think ti will stabilize in this current price range, with perhaps a shy attempt to break 475-500 range, i'm not seeing it breaking 500 yet

If the price stays between the $450 and $480, consolidates for about a months, then it is good for the next stage.

i think this month will be the same as last month. the price might go up coming very close to $500 but not more than that.

The May will be better for bitcoin if people started to support bitcoin and started to buy more bitcoins and not agreed to sell them at lower price, but if people started to sell their bitcoin at lower price then we should not expect it at a high price.

As USD keeps losing its value globally, that means bitcoin will continue to rise in MAY. Oil prices are also going to rise, they used to be 100$...

Though unlikely, I expect that if there is enough buzz about the halving like all the other months, the price will be able to reach around $500. I dare not say that it will reach higher levels because that would require a huge amount of circulation and I doubt that many people [with money and brains] would play into that.

The only true way I would expect for the price to rise to levels much higher than somewhere around 480-520 is if there was a bubble. In that case, it's irrelevant and has nothing to do with the overall trend.

I think bitcoin price will above 600$ by end of May, bitcoin halving is near and anyone wants to get into bitcoin before halving because they know price will rise so its a good chance to get into bitcoin before halving.

Concensus over direction will help bring price up, and the looming halving event will multiply the effects of all good news.  

After the network has stabalized in july we will see everyone pile back into bitcoin from their other crypto investments and then the price will really move, (altcoin investments now being similar to havelock and mining investments then) This in turn will bring in all the new blood similar to 2013 and we will see the next bubble...  its market and human nature.  

My advise is to get out of any gambling type cryptoinvestments right now(ICO/IPO/MMM), sharks will be stealing bitcoins wherever they can find them once the bubble starts.  I bet half of the mining hardware scams of 2013 didnt become full scams until the profit to do so became so ridiculously high.

There will be money to be made in altcoin/blockchain startups after Bitcoin becomes overvalued.




 

With the upcoming halving looming and in sight, I think the feeling of needing to accumulate as much bitcoin as possible while the price is still relatively low will be setting in for more and more of those who haven't already begun to do so. Basically, the FOMO will get more intense as we creep towards halving day and beyond.

Compring with the current price it is +$100, which i doubt it will happen during this month, i think the max should be $500.

It certainly could hit 550. On the other hand it could also go back down to 250. You just never know in the land of bitcoin what's going to happen. Having said that I think it's more likely to go up, but that's just a hunch.

Yes price rises now, price now is 450$, so i think that it is pretty real that price will go to 550$ at end of may, and it rises because one simply reason : halving

people hopes to get a lot of easy money after halving, so they invest their money to bitcoins by buying them and keeping them for halving, so that's why price rises

I don't see any reason yet for bitcoin price to pump up and go beyond $500. At most, it may probably stable at $500 by the end of May. The price is stabilizing at $450 right now so I disagree by what you said "bitcoin's price is going very fast".

I believe May will be a month of downward growth. Optimistically, it should close the month in the 320-350.

May will most likely be very good for is, I really got a good feeling about it to be honest, I think its gonna reach the 500 dollar.
In a week or so its gonna hit the 500 dollar for sure without any doubts..

No. I even find the chance to see the price touch $500 this month to be on the lower side. I think this month will be a "boring" month for some people.

I think the last price range will be upgraded from 370-450 to 420-480. I don't know if the price will reach the 500 level,  but I am convinced that the price will not drop below the $400 again,  at least for this month.

The price will not cross $500 before the half of May and imo even at the end of it will not bypass this barrier, it will takes few weeks before seeing the real movements

I think May will be slightly bullish, but I don't know if the great halving bull run will start in this month. My guess would be a new little rally to $500 stopping either slightly below or slightly above this mark ($510-520 or $498).

But I'm almost sure that in the period May-July the BTC price will rise at least 30%, if not 50%. There _will_ be speculation on the halving event. In July after the halving then I expect a dump, perhaps to $500 again.


Good point, I think it's a valid scenario and I would follow this advice.

I expect no drastic price movement this May...I think the price would go around $430 up to below $500... just like when it reached $400, it just get there and make a steady slow climb...

I feel the same way. Bitcoin price is trying to crawl up and out of the $450 zone but it just keeps getting dragged back down. It's basically stable at ~$450 now. That's not a bad thing but it would've been more exciting if we could ride the price rise hype train once more.

Yes, i think that in May if bitcoin will never reach at $550, than may be bitcoin will be reached at $500 in the May, so you can say that May is very important month for increasing the price.

I predict that we are going to hit $500 this month. But that means that the halving has to wait a bit because of it comes in before we hit $500 we are down at the bottom again.

I am not expecting for it to reach 500 on may. Perhaps 480 or so, but good news may take it up to that level.

I too doesn't expect a targeted growth by the month of May. At the same if the price crosses $500 it would make most users joyful.

May be it could cross that mark but i doubt now as one fake or real i don't know news came out today. A really big news, i have to say may be there will be lots of panic selling now who will dump continuously believing satoshi has been identified and millions of bitcoin may come back to market to get sold. But i am still holding my bitcoin tight.

There's a possibility that the price will hit in 500 or more but as my speculation the price will hit only around 475 to 490. its just my speculation maybe it will increase more after few weeks..

bitcoin have pretty good chances to go to 550$,  because price at start of may is 450$ and still rising by few $ in a day, so if price will rise for next days too it will be awesome

Yeah your right also or me its impossible for now that the price will go 550 i believe on 500 because its nearly.. for today price.. i am expecting for slow movement of the price.. and we will see the fast movement of the price in the middle of june..

People realising now strength of bitcoin so we could only see more rise, expectations are far greater than actual price, and we could easily woke up next morning with very "big" surprise. at least  80% of comunity expecting rise, and nothing less. (This can found in topics with voting..Bitcoin >Speculations..)

I for one highly doubt that we will reach 550 by this months end. Most of the people are indeed buying and stashing for upcoming halving, but
noone is yet willing to pay such a price per coin. Maybe next month when time closes in, and the pressure rises.
There is also the possibility that the halving is already priced in tho, but i doubt it.

I think the price will most likely continue to hover around $450 where it goes down till $440 and up till $460 which is the case at this moment. Don't expect much more than that.

It has a good chance in this month that it reach to $550 and even it is also possible that it will continue to cross that amount and reach to more higher, as now the success of bitcoin has been started and so stop and drop is not possible.

bitcoin is hard to predict, as it can be quite volatile at times.

We cannot predict the exact price of bitcoin as it keeps on fluctuating every now and then the only thing we can do is to wait and watch and act accordingly.

I am also thing that only two months are remaining in the halving and the preparation for the halving will be started from May so in this month the price will continue to increase till the end and will reach to more than $550.

$500 is not that much away from now that it will require all the month to reach there, $500will be reached within the next week or two and so at the end of May the price wil be reached to $550.

bitcoin has been rising on such a good rate lately i am so satisfied with the rise so far. and also i am expecting this rise to continue down this path so by the end of May price will be higher than $500 at the very least and we might see a very good stable price above $500

May will do nothing strange to my opinion. I saw a small rising in the month before dont think
he will rise that fast in a month later. But he can reach the 500 maybe in may why not.

I think even $600 is possible at the end of May. After all, bitcoin is a good technological advancement, and people do appreciate it.

It is going to depend on what the price is going to do it is possible to hit $500 this month and $550 next month. But if the halving comes in we are just farther away from it.
So maybe it is going to happen we just have to wait what is going to happen.

Yes $500 would be a nice achievement.But it won't be easy.
Right now we see resistance at the 3000CNY. The last few days we broke it several times for some short moments.
This is the hurdle we have to take now and then the 500s can come.

Yes you are right, May will be good month for bitcoins because now May has come and may be bitcoin will cross $500, in the end of May, but may be it is not possible that bitcoin will cross $550, may be the next month bitcoin will reach at $550.

I am so happy with bitcoin so far and I think May is going to be no different, I see no reason for any change in the current way things are working out for bitcoin. there is only good news with random FUD from time to time.
so I think by the end of May we can easily break the $500 barrier and become stable above that price.

Maybe somewhere in 2018 yes. But definitely not this year. Right now people are excited about the block halving which gets too hyped up, but once the block halving is done there is nothing more to focus on for this year. So how on earth do you expect the price to come in the $1000 regions again?

Yeah, I'm not so sure that the price will rise that far just because absolutely everyone seems so sure that it'll skyrocket.

Nobody will know what is going to happen with the Bitcoin and that is because there are still a lot of people that the halving will be not even that high because it keeps stable for a long time.
And that have to change so we can earn profit soon when the price is rising so that would be also nice.

I do not dopubt bitcoin, it is around for a while now and is still being massively used by people all over the world. It is only 61 days left and the block reward is being halved.

This month started off well with a $20 increase at the start and currently, it is pretty stable at that. I am waiting for a big change to happen this month that can be beneficial for traders as well. I feel this is all due to the news of Satoshi being revealed but it did not help the price much. May be after halving, in July, we can get more bitcoin users investing their income in BTC. The price will remain below $500 this month.

May will not bring any spectacular things with them. The coin haven't rise much these months. So

this month will be somewhat of a stable month with very low up or down potential. juli will be the month that is going to make a lot traders happy. that's when the real volatility will start. till that time the market will remain fairly calm.

The price action in May is perfect. There is good consolidation time to absorb the profit taking. The price is 40% higher now.

Yes, it is really perfect timing, because we can see it , that's all come true. Bitcoin's price was depending on May, and Bitcoin continuously running so that why now in the June, Bitcoins has been crossed $600.
And now we will see what is happening in June, because June is also very pointed month for the bitcoin's price. If bitcoin price never come back and continuously rise up, so the next month of July, bitcoin will be reached at $1000.
