In the spirit of the latest attempts at mystical analysis, I have conducted an I Ching reading of Bitcoin.

3 coins were tossed 6 times using SD 50% (WIN = heads, LOSE = tails):

Bottom trigram (bottom to top) = THH(H), TTH(T), THT(T), which gives: ☴ (巽 Xùn, Wind)

Top trigram (bottom to top) = THT(T), HHT(H), HHT(H), which gives: ☳ (震 Zhèn, Thunder)

So the hexagram is ䷟, which is hexagram number 32: named 恆 (héng), "Persevering". Other variations include "Endurance", "Duration" and "Constancy".

Interpretations:

Endurance is fostered when inner constancy is coupled with external flexibility. Long-distance runners must adapt readily to changing conditions, while maintaining an inner determination and strength of purpose. Two trees growing near each other adapt to enhance each other’s survival. A strong image of durability is a stable marriage of intimate partners striking a dynamic balance between involvement in the outside world and nourishment in the home.
True endurance is not based on rigidity, for endurance implies movement, not immobilization. Only by adapting to change can we stay in the race, but only by deepening our sense of purpose can we develop the fortitude to win it.
Continuity is achieved through movement, not by keeping still. That which has ceased to grow is close to death.

General: True persistence is a process of constant renewal.
Business: You will be rewarded for the effort you have put into your business ventures.
Overview: Heng is telling you that the only sure constant in life is change. When mistakes are made in a particular strategy the same mistake is often repeated. It does not show strength of character to formulate the same strategy (even if it has worked in the past). Rather it shows a weakness in your refusal to adapt and change. There will always be obstacles in life. Some may be often repeated. If a strategy that has worked several times in the past does not work now then change your strategy. It is also about inertia and complacency. You should always be focusing on self-renewal and not becoming complacent. Avoid stagnation.

The strong trigram Chen is above, the weak trigram Sun below. This hexagram is the inverse of the preceding one. In the latter we have influence, here we have union as an enduring condition. The two images are thunder and wind, which are likewise constantly paired phenomena. The lower trigram indicates gentleness within; the upper, movement without.

My Bitcoin interpretation: Thunder over Wind is symbolizes endurance in tempestuous times. There will be a lot more short term volatility to come, but the long term is very bullish. If you are short and holding BTC, sell or risk riding out the storm. If you are long, do not sell! :)
