But after that, probably altcoins will rise as investors will find a better coin. I don't the ETH hype can influence the progress and price too much. The daily turn over of bitcoin seems to be stable, which means not much money left bitcoin for an altcoin. It will definitely not go to $500 this month. Also, if it goes to $500 before the block halving, it will not go much higher than $500 as a lot people will get triggered to cash out and make the price go down to $450-$470 prices in a matter of days.
