Title: [BTC] Symbol in the title of the threads Post by: RealBitcoin on June 02, 2016, 11:46:48 AM It would be nice if the BTC symbol would be visible in the title of the threads as well, not just posts.
Is it possible to add this feature to the forum? It would have to be white colored to contrast the blue ribbon of the title. I think it will be anyway, would be invisible otherwise. :) Or use ฿? I can't count the times I've typed in BTC and had to edit out the bbcode from my title, after realizing. But the symbol is actually used to represent Bitcoin in many places. There won't be much confusion if you use that just in the title in the general threads. Ƀ is generally more preferred than Baht symbol anyway. You can suggest that for Beta. https://beta.bitcointalk.org/ For the SMF forum, you probably will need to use a workaround. My biggest worry would be crap title's using BTC multiple times in it. In marketplace it could become the new * that people use to try to make thread stick out. Granted it's a small amount that would likely use it for this. But it could get annoying. |
