Would anyone actually withdraw any of those coins?  I mean that sincerely.   Those are pretty shit coins and they're mostly just traded on the exchange and the bitcoin is what's withdrawn.

I would say it is more the fault of those coins for failing, it is inevitable that some will become worthless as they are all competing to capture a relatively small pool of people - mainly people who  are attempting cryptocurrency arbitrage. Of course you should not rely on any one exchange and any might become unstable in future.

This ain't an argument. There is no sufficient reasons to block all these markets and ignore all the tickets.
I personally have several Bitcoins stucked in altcoins wallets.

This list only represent a fraction of the total blocked wallets.

I wasn't really making an argument,  just asking.  I've never tried to withdraw any low rent,  Z-grade shitcoinage from yobit or anywhere else.   I'm also not shilling for them either, just renting out my little signature space.  There's a difference.

why not change in btc and withdraw as bitcoin?
really bad during a transaction?

What if you bought higher than the current market price. Or if you simply don't want to massively dump and crash the market.

This is not supposed to be a one way exchange. You can't force people to dump their alts into Bitcoins.

Yobit seriously needs to consider delisting some coins. Their indiscretion on what to list in the first place, coupled with never ever delisting a coin, leads to the unwieldy mess they have now.

BTW, The Pharmacist is right, just because someone has a Yobit signature doesn't mean they signed some loyalty pledge with them.   ::)

Take Francs FRN as exemple. Blockchain is working. Users were trading the coin (before it felt to zero volume, thanks Yobit). Everybody now have their coins stucked there with no other option than to dump into Bitcoins.

People have the right to withdraw their money. I don't know why you guys are minimizing or trying to justify this freezing.

I totally agree with you. Decred is not working either but the network is more than healthy. Yobit needs to decrease the size of what they are handling. It seems they are devoting their resources to the biggest priorities, in their mind, and let everything else fall by the wayside.

hi there ... on yobit , the FRN wallet is stuck , Sell Wall is about 30BTC , but the biggest wallet on the blockchain is the yobit's one ...

for sure this sell is from yobit

biggest priorities ...?

Well you could go there and look instead of asking on a forum.  No?  Darkcoin is Dash and is traded on Yobit.  You're welcome.

I've 3 tx on withdraw, about 150 DCR from more than 48h in pending status.

IMHO DCR isn't a shitcoin like many other listed there, and since the wallet status is online and the withdraw isn't processed, seems there's a lack o liquidity.

I would like to think that yobit isn't a SCAM exchange till they scam everyone, but in this case they scammed me and all who want to withdraw DCR (and/or other cryptos)

I've also a list of other 5 users that report withdraw issues with DCR wallet.

I warn you all

However all users that are wearing a yobit signature ad. and are posting here ... make me really laugh OMG, you have yobit in your signature place and you come here and reply?

You're seriously childish. People can be part of the Yobit signature campaign and still criticize them. They are well known for slow support responses which needs to be improved. Frankly they should stop allowing most of these unpopular and worthless altcoins because it only generates complaints from pointless arbitrage traders like this.

The real scam here are altcoins that offer no real value but are pumped up penny stocks.

I don't see anyone directing people to a different exchange, so how would you trade them elsewhere anyway?

You are basically advertising/promoting yobit with your signature ad. or am I wrong ? Last thing, I was talking in general not directly to you.

Yes, we are just like when MSNBC airs an obvious Republican superpac ad. Although MSNBC makes some weak efforts to be neutral, everyone knows they are strongly biased to the left.  ;)

CBX (Crypto Bullion) has had the wallet frozen with withdraws delayed for over a month now I believe. I have never used YoBit because their a shitty exchange but a bunch of people have lost coins because of it. You can find more complaints in the CBX altcoin announcement thread.

+1 Yobit is known to manipulate coins. They even make sudden pumps of dead coins with broken blockchain. I've seen that happening before.

just because someone has a Yobit signature doesn't mean they signed some loyalty pledge with them.

Of course. But people saying "it's not Yobit's fault but the altcoin's fault" are just plain dishonest.
Best part was "these coins weren't made to be withdrawed"... I mean seriously ???

Several CBX folk have recently lost coin at Yobit. I personally have a Support Ticket unanswered for over three weeks. No mod in troll box. Homophobic bans in troll box. Aggressive users in troll box. Many wallets down.

@ LawBC: yes, I have experienced this sort of aggressive illogic in the troll box.

Good morning, The Pharmacist. Would you care to publicly state here for the record that CBX is a 'pretty shit coin'?

And I note an obvious flaw in your logic: if CBX and Francs are just traded on Yobit, and the Bitcoin withdrawn . . . then how come the concern we're expressing here is that we can't withdraw our CBX and Francs?

what amazes me about the number of shit coins is that one of our coins we had the most hope for could not get listed on yobit.  it was a charity for a good cause and no go, but coins about absolute total nothing or some trending event gets right on there, sorry, i represent them in my signature and love the site, but sometimes i wonder about the coin choices

You do realise about half off your list is simply dead? Meaning the blockchains itself.... An exchange is never responsible to keep a blockchain healthy... If it dies.. it dies.. simple as that... You can blame the developer and "community" for leaving / not staking/mining

The other half however, needs more attention for fixing, I agree on that  ;)

Title: Re: Yobit - Stucked coins list (Add yours)
Post by: morantis on June 06, 2016, 06:14:52 PM
ok, first just because i have a signature does not mean that i am their spokesperson

take frn as your example, there is no value to it, how can it be exchanged properly...things and commodities are only worth what the market will pay and while there is a small lingering value to BTC on that exchange, it is just what the exchange last saw as a value

another site shows that there are 8 active nodes, but the chain is sticking and that is because those "active nodes" are just that, nodes, that does mean there is a daemon or wallet there and running, but does not mean that same server is mining or generating

we had an old coin that could not break a block because of the lack of miners

Yobit is a business, whether people agree with their policies or not, as a business it would be stupid to follow every garbage coin into the grave, you are lucky that they keep them in the exchange.

If you want to unstick that coin and others, then create value in it, create attention for it and get some value back into the chain

you are like the guy in the parking lot of an old dying store that is yelling at other people for not joining you and trying to save the dead business.  better exchange techniques, better quality and a coin will never get stuck.  if you love these coins so much, then buy them up at more than the market value and show you love them

As long as a coin isn't dead people should be able to withdraw their money. Period.

Not to mention Yobit support is virtually equal to Zero. If you ignore this I invite you to check the Yobit thread. You'll find dozens of pages of rants.

just because there are people yelling and ranting about something does not support the issue.  wrong people can be individuals or groups.  if anyone has an issue with a site that has nothing to do with broken laws or really outrageous moral offenses, then they should open their own site just like it and run it the way they want.

again, i do not even know the admins for the site, and i am not "on their side" to any further extent than the fact that THEY own the site and it is theirs to run as they see fit.  i have run plenty of different services and web based designs, there are many things to take into account and many things that can make or break the site.

running fifty or more daemons on an exchange is a power drain and i would imagine the largest expense or cause of an expense(through needed server speed).    the daemons increase the server cost before the launch because many dedicated and VPS servers will shut an account down that shows any signs of "mining" or continuous burst scripts and apps.

the only way a site can provide free or low cost services is to increase revenue and lower costs.  yobit gives every coin a chance and the important thing to do during that chance is to get users that will run the wallets and mine the coins.  after a period of time an exchange/pool/service structure should stop running the generate function on each and every new coin letting the coin die or fly

i am going to long into this....this is the point!

either let the admins and owners run their property however they choose, leave their site and use others or leave and start your own.

grab a couple new altcoin daemons and wallets, rent a VPS to start making sure that their terms don't prohibit what you are doing and that the hard drive is big enough to store the blockchains, running bitcoin would require more than 50 GB for the chain itself.......run and compile the coins one at a time until you have a small cache....install the pre-made scripts for block exploring and interfacing and then launch......

issues will start from minute one, but you learn as you earn....servers crashing for no reason and needing a restart while you were sleeping, restarts and boots not starting any of your coins without manually doing it....since the scripts you are using are off the internet you could likely get hacked because people have had months to tear those scripts apart.....

then, a year later, your first quiet day, no issues, the server and coin daemons up and running, traffic moderate and with good lengths of visits, a trickle of money hitting your wallets that you can watch, and then someone starts tearing you apart on the forums for a choice you made that saved the site $20 a month, it will happen, give it a try yourself

Bro, I don't know anything about CBX.  Would it make a difference if I called that particular coin a shitcoin?  It's no skin off my teeth.  Ok then , it's a stinky, impacted, anal shitstain of a shitcoin.  You have me on record.

I don't see the flaw in my logic.  Your pet shitcoin should be withdraw-able, yes.  If it isn't,  that is most certainly a problem with the exchange.   I am just wondering out loud why you would want to do anything with these coins other than exchange them for bitcoin.

All I see is someone writing ridiculously long message to pointlessly defend Yobit, while there is an increasing number of people who feel either robbed or disrespected by Yobit policies.

Yobit support is catastrophic and there is a shit load of people having legitimate complaints.

End of the discussion.

i will only put this out there one more time and i refer to any and every website that is not stealing, pushing kid porn or advocating blowing shit up with people in it.

if you choose to do business with any given website, then you are accepting their policies and their service structure.....if you do not own the site or any part of it and have not invested in the structure of the site through direct buying of stock, then, whether they are right or wrong, you have no right to direct how they run the site, service the clients or anything.  they put the time and money into the site, they own it and they run it.

the only way to have every little nuance of a site or service the way that you think it should be is to own it or own one just like it.

I don't know how old you guys are, i am 45 and i learned not too far back that bitching and complaining is a useless act.  trust me, if i thought that complaining about something would change it, i would be all over that.  it just doesn't work.  you get more angry and more frustrated by trying to change the unchangeable, but whatever floats your boat and makes you happy, and i mean that in a completely non-sarcastic way.

i just wanted people to know that i am not in support directly of yobit, i am in support of any and every owner of a business or website to make their own choices on how that business is run.  if they screw up and run too many people off, then the business will either change or fail, but they have the right to run it how they want, that is my last statement on this, lol, probably

I strenuously disagree with morantis above, with all due respect.   If a business is providing shitty service,  then you should 1) complain loudly, or 2) don't give them your business.   I happen to like Yobit and I'm not trying to stifle any complaints here.  I don't know what is going on with them right now but I do hope they get themselves back to normal.   A little communication wouldn't hurt either.

ok, last last last statement, lol, i just want to say that each and every person will chose the actions that work for them.  i simply wanted people to know that what i say is my opinion and if they agree, great, if not, that is pretty ok too.  i just encourage people to realize that a website exchange or any other service that followed every desire of every client would die quickly, that is all, i am sure they have reasons for what they choose to do

I don't see the flaw in my logic.

I'll tell you Socrate.

Your coin should be withdraw-able, yes.  If it isn't,  that is most certainly a problem with the exchange.

You got the point finally.

I am just wondering out loud why you would want to do anything with these coins other than exchange them for bitcoin.

It's a right whatever the reason. But since you're wondering so loud I'll give you hypothesis

First reason people simply don't want to sell at a loss.
Second. They don't want to mass dump and hurt the market.
Third. Because they believe in the currency they want to put them on cold storage.
Fourth, because after 50 days maintenance you can't even dump anymore. Volume = 0
Fifth because a friend is asked you to buy some alts. Now you lost your friend's money (happened to me on Craptsy)

Etc

Any customer can legitimately expect not to be robbed. You are again making pointless arguments.
Sorry but it's been a while I haven't seen such a ridiculous pile of horse crap. You should stop it now.

I would feel ashamed to wear a signature of a platform with such a fishy reputation. How many pennies are you getting for this. And you say you're 45 ?

Do you want me to give you 0.001BTC for wearing a signature like "kick me in the face". I guess you'd accept. PM if interested.

Theres no need to critcize on someones age here..

But if youre having horrible experiences, I`m sure this came around before all the alt coins that became stuck / really served no person to start with.

Unless its like ETH that has some uniqueness to it.

Is darkcoin on there as I use to collect those but my computer crashed so I lost my wallet.
Well you could go there and look instead of asking on a forum.  No?  Darkcoin is Dash and is traded on Yobit.  You're welcome.
They were not available when I went to go check. But yes now I remember it is not the same coin now, thanks for pointing this out.

Ridiculous! Yobit themselves decided to take on all these coins, least they could do is support what THEY decided to take in. If not just give us back our coins.

They have a nice interface, the site works well, a strong (albeit going down fast) customer base - they need to invest in some hands to handle all the support claims. CBX wallet at Yobit has been in maintenance for 1 month and 2 weeks now! They had plenty of time to fix it.

Support calls are unanswered, they dont answer to trollbox requests either - they just have a "moderator" who does nothing just bans people for asking for their own coin.

Theres no need to continue on about this.

If the issues are out there, you take a hit and dont use their services with no business to give.

Let alone its always been risky for everything in the alt coin section ever since the oldest alt coin exchange has been down for awhile now.

How to delist markets

Important news

We have to free up server resources for new coins by delisting some coins which have consistently low trading volume.
The following coins will be removed on 27.05.2016 if their average trading volume for the last month has not exceeded 0.2 BTC/day (or 6 BTC for last 30 days):

AnarchistsPrime [ACP], AndromedaCoin [AND], Argon2Coin [AR2], BitBay [BAY], BinaryCoin [BIC], BitcoinTX [BTX], BowsCoin [BSC], Bubble [BUB], CarbonCoin [CARB], CryptBit [CBIT], ChipCoin [CHIP], CleverCoin [CLV], Isotope [XTP], CIONZ [CIONZ], PayCon [CON], Credits [CRE], CrownCoin [CRW], Crypto [CTO], Cygnus [CYG], Eclipse [EC], FujiCoin [FJC], GuccioneCoin [GCC], Goldmaxcoin [GMX], GenesysCoin [GSY], bitHIRE [HIRE], HellenicCoin [HNC], Kcoin [KC], KiloCoin [KLC], LiteStarCoin [LTS], Lyrabar [LYB], MobileCash [MBL], 2016Coin [MMXVI], MindCoin [MND], MotoCoin [MOTO], PrimeChain [PRIME], NukeCoinz [NKC], OPES [OPES], ResumeoShares [RMS], SmileyCoin [SMLY], TurboStake [TRBO], SibCoin [SIB], StepsCoin [STEPS], SuperCoin [SUPER], Valorbit [VAL], WarpCoin [WARP], WorldLeadCurrency [WLC], WorldPay [WOP], ForeverCoin [XFC], BitZeny [ZNY].

Please, trade, sell or withdraw these coins before removal date, after which retrieval of any remaining balances for these coins will not be possible anymore.

We will not remove coins which will reach minimum trading volume requirement.

This from the last CCEX announcement.

Yobit is the absolute most shadiest 'exchange' since Mt Gox.

I have a stuck withdraw for KR.  I did a test one first, no problem
The big one is stuck.
I have been asking all week, and sending tickets in.
I even sat and waited for Blacksmith to come on as the other morons don't have 'power' to do fucking support.
I ask him and i get banned for a week.
I am pulling out all my coins that I can - it's hard when 70% of the wallets are in 'maintenance'

karma comes around... and will bite you on your ass, thieves.

Many people have been reporting insults and arbitrary bans from the so-called "moderators"

This isn't a good sign... Yobit support is worthless and now few admins making things even worse...
Used yobit before and have few stucked coins there..well not so much to cry about but still hate the way to be unable to withdraw (forever)...seeing the Ccex way to resolve things made me getting angry that period... Now after many months i see things getting worse in yobit!

It's getting clearer by the day that it doesnt seem that Yobit will survive this problem they are having, judging by their attitude towards clients. Did they get hacked, anyone knows if they got hacked so we stop thinking about all our stuck withdrawals?

I haven't seen people start complaining that they cannot withdraw their Bitcoin, yet. (Although their payout for the signature campaign has not been operational for a couple of days.) So, I don't think they are hiding a "hack." I do think that they do not have the servers and staff necessary to maintain over 300 wallets. I don't think they will ever acquire the necessary staff or servers either.

Yesterday someone have been reporting that his DOGE withdraw was stucked since May 25th. And Doge is a major altcoin.

Don't know what to think really. Better withdraw your coins before it's too late.
Man, for someone who doesn't know what to think you sure are vocal about your opinions!

I agree that Yobit is handling their issues unprofessionally with the dickheaded mod and their lack of communication.   I like the exchange a lot when it's working smoothly and they've always paid out on their sig campaign, even if it was a few days with that goddamn withdrawal button stuck.  As I said before, I'm not married to them and if I thought they were going to Gox I'd dump their sig in a hot NY minute.

why not change in btc and withdraw as bitcoin?
really bad during a transaction?

What if you bought higher than the current market price. Or if you simply don't want to massively dump and crash the market.

This is not supposed to be a one way exchange. You can't force people to dump their alts into Bitcoins.

so the Problem is clearly that the Coins our going out of Market Cap and your money is lost?
Or you can consider a coin havin a market price like ethereum.

What do you want with all thoose alts worth nothing going to break down soon. Its the new Ethereum and Enigma which is chanign the World bro ;)

Coins with a functional blockchain should be updated...
Coins with a dead network should be de-listed, or have a notice of "network dead" instead of "maintenance"...

I prefer de-listings though.. Not on trade volume, but only on network status.. (dead). This prevents people from investing in worthless coins, and cleans things up lol..

Support and trollbox needs more staff, and more "back-end" privileges to solve problems for users...

@LawBC, I understand your frustration/anger.. 50+ days is unacceptable..

What I don't understand,
If this was my exchange, and there was a thread like this.. I would be on top of this...  ???

@Blacksmith... These problems should be your nr.1 priority...  :-\

the problem is that once a coin is listed on yobit the owner must pay a fee, i don't know if it is monthly fee or yearly. It means that if for any reason you don't pay for the maintenance of your coin, then Yobit won't do anything regarding withdrawal or deposit issues. Maybe this is why they never answer, and also because there is no admin on yobit ! ( this is what the troll box uses to say)

There is no monthly fees for yobit to keep things updated. They make their money through fees. Its on them to update and keep things running. Having a stuck blockchain is an easy fix. They just dont care

Isn't it funny? - as soon as ZETA price goes up, Yobit put their wallet in "maintainance mode" so that nobody can trade it. I see this happen with so many other coins it's a complete con-job.

What an absolute joke of an "Exchange" this is - in fact it's not an exchage - it's a scam site that dupes noobs into giving them their coins, forces them to beg for their money here for months on end then rips them off completely.

Anyone who wants their coin listed here is asking for trouble - stay away. It's a scam.

Well one of the coins I trust and love, CBX, is stuck since 5 months ago at Yobit.  Wallet in maintenance mode, they rarely reply back, and when they reply they do not follow through on their promises.

Unprofessional, careless, worst exchange since MtGox: Yobit.

I am starting to think they are a Ponzi scheme and sold their customer's CBX reserves to steal our money.

Well i dont have heard any news either that yobit charge some yearly fees when stocking our coins there, and suggestion for you mate just make some raining tickets so they can see and they can be bother to take some actions regarding your problems,

And the support of yobit really sucks thats why i really dont bother to do some trades out there because some of their wallet are on active maintenance and the owner didnt bother to fixed the issue so there well be no more coin stuck issue existing right now.

i think its decent for exchangers to ask for fees when listing some new coin to their site thats their rules and thats their way to earn money aside from asking for little fee upon withdrawal and it is very wrong if they ask yearly maintenance fee while so far i dont hear any exchanger do that practices.

Supposing I would like to check what wallet version they are using for a specific coin, is there a list of their nodes?

There's also a lot of coins on yobit that you can't sell because they are worth less than 1 satoshi. Those coins they give away are basically worthless.

I'm sitting on 4,000,000 EGAME coins that are stuck in Yobit wallet under maintenance for days now... There are no buy orders and about the same time the wallet was flagged under maintenance a sell wall of 68 bit coins went up almost immediately... just about everyday since a bot works on buying a fraction of ECOIN at a time for a few hours then stops.... can't move coins can't do crap with them I'm thinking of taking a little trip once I find out where about they are located... first for me it was 1337 6.5mil coins bought at 7sat a month ago.. had same problem and finally unloaded them for 1sat now here I am sitting on worthless ECOIN..... Damn I'm hot

I withdrew ENT (Eternity) coins from YoBit.net to my ENT wallet on August 6th, 2017.  The status has been stuck on "In process" since then.  I created a ticket, tweeted, and also sent a PM to YoBit directly for assistance, but have received NO REPLY at all or acknowledgement.

Not sure but one thing you can o now is to wait. I think your transaction will appear after maintenance and update. Just wait and see because there is no sense to contact Yobit support because they answer after month. I have waited so long and got an automated message as a reply.

If you are answering here, may be you could fix RCN (Ripio Credit Network) withdraws as well? When I tried to withdraw these coins the wallet status was shown as "online" therefore I thought it would not be a big problem to withdraw. But from that time my withdraw status is still "in progress" and nothing happens...

Well UNIT coin is already under maintenance since the 4th of July 2017. So thats well over 5 Months, and still under maintenance. Support tickets can take up to 4 months before they give an answer, or they will just simply ignore your support question, and it will never be answered.

So be prepared. I've 10000 UNIT Coins (worth over $9000) waiting in deposit because of a wallet under maintenance, so I know the feeling.

But in case you are still waiting on a answer for your support ticket, I can answer it for you. 99% chance that this will be the answer, no mather what motivation or question you asked about the wallet(if they will answer you)

PAC Coin wallet stuck in maintanence for past few days.

Good thing my deposit made it through before wallet status changed but......my balance is not showing and I have over 7k confirms. 200 confirms only beeded for Yobit. So maintanence is not the main issue since my coins already made it. It's simply my balance still showing zero. Could've made a great profit yesterday but had to miss the opportunity because I can't trade with a zero balance. I really hope they fix soon because I need my money now.

It's pretty incredible an exchange can survive with such practices and leaving customers stuck with coin they cannot withdraw;

I guess people who use Yobit don't do any research.

I have a theory about stuck coins:

Coins are stuck if you transfer them to yobit then try to transfer them out without making a trade
They seem to be stuck ON PURPOSE when this condition is met.

If anybody can do an experiment to prove/refute the aforementioned please let me know
