Played for free on Firefox 19 for Mac and it worked fine.  I would have lost both times. 

Maybe during testing you should make the payout 101% or something to encourage people to try it?  Then after you're sure it works you can cut it back to 98% or whatever.

This is really cool. Wagered .1 and got the x2. The only problem I had is I didn't see the thing falling down. Not sure how that's supposed to work.

To see if falling you just need to have the front page open when the system receives your bet. So just open the page then send bet. You should see it falling within 5 secs of sending the bet! What is more you should see other people betting too.


Those who did not see it falling please can you tell me if the Play for free button works and also the bet id (you can work this out from the table below). Also would like to know if the table updated for you, and your IP address (pm me if you prefer).

But why do you follow the mistake of SatoshiDice and send back the 1 Satoshi transaction for losing bets  :'(

Arh - that is a bug! I will fix it. If you look carefully the 3rd to about 40th characters are the same.
(for technically minded one has the public key and the other the compressed public key)
I will upload a file that matches. I still have on my TODO list to put a hash of this in the blockchain to prove I do not ever change it.

Some people like the confirmation. But I have added to my TODO list to list a second address that people can use that will not do this. Then everyone is happy (even Luke-Jr? maybe not!)...

It is still listed as pending.  Perhaps you ran out of entropy.

I can confirm that this works on iPad (iOS 6.1), safari browser. Falling animation and all.

Also, what would happen if we were to send a transaction without a tx. fee? Would the lack of confirmations cause it to not go through?

Yes I am afraid that the pushing of the animation only works on desktop browsers (chrome/firefox).

I've been asked to 'audit' this game by its owner.  He's given me 0.5 BTC and asked me to place 5 bets of roughly 0.1 BTC each over 2 days, and to verify that the game is indeed provably fair.

Edit: but the title of this thread says it's a "zero conf" game.  And one of my bets is confirmed now anyway but I still don't see if I won or not.  The site could use a 'FAQ' page which talks about how many confirmations are required.

Edit2: my 3 bets now all have at least 12 confirmations, but they're still 'pending' on the site.  I wanted to check the result for myself, since the daily secret is now revealed, but the description is a little unclear:


The first 2 bytes have 16 bits in total, but there are only 14 decisions to make so it would be better to be explicit about which bits are used and in which order.  The Python script does so, but maybe say it in English too.

Just after I sent dooglus an email asking him to test, the hard disk failed on the machine it was running on!

I recovered onto another server, but there were numerous issues.
1) The backup was obviously a day old so was a bit of fun ensuring we did not "double pay" anyone.
2) There was a bug in the recovery code when we would return zero if you lose so those were stuck in pending.
3) It has been running on a bit of a duff machine all day and seems to have stopped processing at some point.

But we are now back on the original machine and working on moving to more resilient one.

Just to be open, we have changed our payout policy. We still payout 99%, but if you win we subtract the 0.0005BTC transaction fee from the payment. This is the same policy as SatoshiDice.

Sorry for this, but currently bets under 0.05 cost us money due to the low margin we operate on. This change will mean that we only lose on bets under 0.025. We do not want to prevent small bets, as we know this allows people to try the site and gain confidence that we are honest.

whats the deal?

At the start the site did work. I stumbled upon it being updated with the owner tweaking a few things a couple of weeks ago. Ever since people have been saying they haven't received anything. Hopefully it's just a technical error.

I can see that the win did not appear in the blockchain for a few hours. This can happen on occasion.

I haven't been on this in awhile, but just tried again. The ball started dropping but it was moving in super slowmo.

Great site! Got bored and decided, eh, let's go here again, bet 0.1 and 0.1, one on 0x one on 2x, then bet 0.2 BTC, 5x, 1BTC won. Quite happy!

I always win on this site. Secret is betting once or twice a day.

This happens when we are not 100% sure the payment is not a double spend. Bitcoin is the wild west so there are a lot of people trying to con us!

This is what happened to your bet. Is often because one of the inputs is unconfirmed or there is no fee.

Once the payment appears in a block it will speed up.

Site is still fine. We do have issues on occasion but only normally once every few weeks and fix them as fast as we can.

We had an issue last night and 7 bets went missing. We have reprocessed these now and all is working as normal again!

Again was issue caused on xmas day. I think they are all resolved now.
Also we have added a lot of checks to the code so even if we get a similar issue we will not get in such a mess again.
