It will be too complicated to explain it here. I would suggest check out on these tutorials for understanding pgp.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-MPcUHhXoc

And this one to actually use it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U33TbfZInEI

Further useful reading: http://wiki.deedbot.org/GPG (General GPG info) and http://wiki.deedbot.org/WOT%20%26%20Reputation (Info on how a WoT works).

Good luck! Glad to see you recognize the importance of all this.

Sorry for the dumb question. Just want to be sure you're not confusing PGP (pretty good privacy - a data encryption and decryption computer program) with the general concept of public-key cryptography, widely used in Bitcoin.

Suggest you read the documentation (https://www.gpg4usb.org/docu.html) for gpg4usb. Very clear and concise, easy read.

I think this is the wrong question.  Pgp keys are remotely like what bitcoin does but it is a different technology.   Perhaps you might see Pgp signatures to validate the binaries came from someone on the dev team.   How do you verify the gpg binaries have not been replaced after downloading via HTTP?

Man I am a noob about these stuffs. May be my question is incorrect.  But I am willing to learn about all like pgp keys, pgp signature, etc.
