We've been working on a Reserved Bitcoin OTC Exchange based in Pakistan and we will be launching in Beta phase soon.
NOTE: This is not a trading engine but more of a buy/sell/exchange platform.

We know that for a successful project we need to rely on the feedback of our customers therefore we are looking for alpha testers and bug hunters.

We require a total of 7 testers whose main responsibility would be to check every aspect of the platform and website to locate bugs and non functional elements.

Requirements to apply for this position:
- At least 6 months of presence in the community.
- Solid green or neutral trust with past feedback. (Green trust users will will be given preference)
- 2 hour of free time for 5 days, where you will test with the rest of the team: 19 to 21 UTC You can do this at your own pace once hired but total testing time will be one week for the project
- A telegram account, to keep in touch during the daily testing hour (This can easily downloaded from your android or IOS app store)

What we ask of you:
* Find any bug/broken link/ transaction error/ calculation error etc
* Deposit bitcoin(very low amount, if you use your own btc we will return the btc with a 3% profit and if you use our BTC to check deposit you will have to be a long term member with solid green trust rating on the forum- we might even require your id card)
* Do exchanges, withdrawals and deposits and perform other functions the exchange.


The most important thing is that you LET US KNOW WHAT DOESN'T WORK. We made it so you guys can break it. We want to have a squeaky clean MVP before it goes live into beta for users.

This position will lead to future positions with the company for more upcoming projects. It is on our discretion who is chosen to become an alpha tester with the site.

Benefits/Salary:
- 0.01 btc for Major issues found on the platform.
- 0.001 btc for minor or normal issues

Ive done beta testing before and obviously used quite a few bitcoin sites in my time.    I also have a small amount of programming experience with flat databases, nothing complicated but I get the idea of how valuable finding and identifying bugs in a repeatable way can be.   Let me know if I can be of assistance and good luck either way :)

I like to break stuff but ATM in the current situation of your exchange I would only opt to use your provided BTC given to the account on the exchange to try anything on there.

I have been an active member of the Bitcointalk & Cryptocoin Community for quite some time now if you look at my history.

You will be paying for a found bug or any minor defects within your site, however how much are you planning to pay the 2 hours for 5 days you should have include it to your details so member of this forum will be much more confident about what they're going to do.  8)

If your exchange has an api (it should if you are into anything serious), I will break it, lol. I've massively done the api things before (trading bots), json or whatever (and just in case, almost all exchanges have broken api's). But it will cost you substantially more since it requires a lot of programming as well as spending a lot of time getting the hang of it (learning how it works)...

Will the payment be done only if any minor or any bugs found or if it be done also irrespective if not able to find any. What is the minimum pay for 5 days?

I'm good at find glitches and bugs and trying all sorts of things to try make the system crash by doing odd things and I think I can be of help to you if you interested please pm me other wise its ok :)

The payment will be done on bugs found. Payment will be made after successfully completing 2 days of testing and the rest after 3 days.

Do we absolutely have to be online for 5 days in a row from 19-21 UTC (7pm-9pm EST right?) is there a reason there's only that 2hr window?

I've done testing for another exchange before so I understand what to look out for. I can put 10hrs into this for you but not necessarily from 7-9pm est 5 days in a row.

I am changing the rules and making it different. Once accepted users do not have to be online at the given specific hours.
They can work on their own hours and send in the bugs and a detailed report about them.

I would be interested/happy to help, now that I can do the testing at anytime I wish. Haven't used telegram or have it, but I can make an account if accepted.

Because of this, I'm extremely interested and would like to apply. Like I said, I've done tests for an exchange before and I know they were happy because I was rehired by the CEO. Please let me know if you'll be able to slot me in.

By very low amount i mean micro transactions like 0.01 would also do. It is just for testing purposes.
We will have a combined sheet which will help everyone post their bugs. It will distinguish and note what has been found.

This was supposed to be lock by 2nd July since on 30th June I received the reply that in 48 hours it will be choose and thread will be locked. So it means people have not joined as per their expectations till now.

People come and go, so it doesn't make much sense to lock the thread until testing is over. I'm curious if anyone received payment for their effort?

Testing is on going. People have reported bugs and unfortunately there are many.
Digital lord has been paid for his efforts.
The rest are still working and compiling the bugs. One of the applicants has been chosen as project manager. He is handling most of the world.
Development is very tough and required alof of work and we are doing our best to keep up.
The reason why we havent locked the thread because we have only 5 testers and we want to get a few more.

We have successfully managed the first section of our testing and now moving into phase 2.
Along with the ones we have, need a few more testers for the second phase.

We are paying double for the bugs found before we go for beta launch.

I already had replied to a PM but wanted to post I here as well to see if anyone else was having this issue. I'm stuck on a bug that tells me I need to verify my email address, but I had done that with the last tests. I wasn't sent a new email to verify either.

Try to click on the same verification link (if you have received it once). Also I confirm that I have received the payment for the first round and I still try to continue contributing to make the platform as less buggy as possible.

I've been trying to click it but don't have the option. It's greyed out fo me on my phone. I'll have to grab a computer and see if I can get it sent again.
