Where would you go in time, if you had a time machine?
Would it be the past or the future from now? If it is the past, which time is it before now (a historical epoch or something before human history)? And if it is the future, where is it in time from now (near future or far future) and how do you imagine that (progressive or decadent future)?

As for me, I'd love to see The Golden Age of Roman Empire. Except for the dawn of our civilization, they had a clean air. However, I would not like to stuck there since they had no internet. And I would not like to get some time before history, it is too dangerous for me, although it may be interesting. Future for me is even more dangerous than pre-historical past, though I could go into that some day with some hesitetion (future for me as a pig in a poke).

Going back in time to claim a lottery price wont work. Entropy moves with the speed of light. When you reach the past to fill out your lottery ticket entropy will instantly change the winning numbers. It might work if you could not only travel back in time but also change your location in the universe. If you fill out the lottery ticket, 1 lightday away, one day before the drawing it might work. Quantum entanglement could prove to be a problem though...

I would want to go to the future, 200-750 years from now. Really curious about space travel. Maybe intergalactic species.

Could I take my notebooks with solar panels and backup hdd? And US patent database downloaded?

I think that i want to go back in time and help to myself become a big guy and also rich.

I am not founde time machine, but i love travel in India because…I have learned to appreciate the simple things in life. I would go at least 100 years into the future, to see what humanity has reached in technology.

I think we've had this discussion before, if I recall it was decided that selling the time machine for several billion dollars then living the good life was the best course of action.

Since this is a BTC forum, I think the simple answer is to go to September 2010 and buy 100,000 BTC at $0.05 usd / coin = $5000.
Then jump ahead to November 2013 and sell it all at $1200 usd / coin = $120,000,000  8)

I think that would be enough to get me through a couple years.

or invest those 120mil in bank with a monthly interest and collect it after those 3 years period

^ Why not just sell the machine for 500k BTC instead, use your noggin boy. Also if you see what goes on around here you'll know that a vaporware CGI drawing will be enough to close the deal, pocket the money and walk away.

Things could get out of hand very fast.

Everybody lives in the present. Think of Hillary Clinton sending some of her goons into the past about 1 minute, with the idea that they would travel forward in time at the same rate that future goes into past. They would be out of sight of everyone in the present, but they would be able to visit anybody and break into the privacy of anybody, and find out who her enemies were, almost real time.

Once they did this, she could send her goons into the future to easily rig "accidents" that would go backwards in time until they met the victim in the present, and annihilate him.

I would like to see if we ever leave and spread out through out the universe.
Id like to see the day the earth was destroyed by the sun expanding.
Something very beautiful yet so destructive, could really change a person.

I would go to the future (tomorrow) and get to know the BTC price movements. Then come back and invest immediately. :)
