We know trollbox is not a good place to ask because liars living there,are you ever lose money because watching their conversations?

They also may not know what they're talking about. I would only listen to the ones on there that have a history of being helpful and give good information.

the only time that i ever look at the trollbox is when i am bored and want to laugh at those bag holders desperately trying to pump their shitcoin to higher price so they can sell their coins fast and get out themselves.

In 2014 Iam use trollbox at c-cex to make "some altcoin" succes pump, or fake pump then my sell order filled  ;D ;D ;D :D :D
but sometimes i lose some money because i trust trollbox.

I have lost few coins actually most of my bankroll when i was new to trading following trollbox views. Most of the time trollbox is just full of hypes and fuds. I even don't care about what trollbox is having in conversation.

I am sorry if you got loss money in trollbox, i use yobit to trade and use trollbox to make another user buy coin that i already buy first
Make some profit for just flood the trollbox

its normally happen in trading many people use troll box to had attention of others to sell their coin. but for me im just ignoring it many user at there just want  to sell their shit coin. and some times i use trollbox too to pump my hold coin. ;D ;D ;D

Yeah i also lose some money when i was a newbie because of the trollbox that has doing some conversation about their coins. I still remember that they said that the deur (back in the time) that it will pump again to 10k sats and after i read their conversation, i rush all my money to invest/buy a lot of deur coins because it just 1k per piece in that moment but after several days the coin is continue to dumping and i just loss all my money and still as of now i regret that decision i made :(.

What type of moron would react to the torrent of utter shite in such places? If you did panic because of the junk in there then you deserve everything you've done to yourself.

If there is an option to hide the trollbox on the site in question, I would always do so. Sure sometimes, people will predict the right thing to happen, but most of the time it's just plain FUD & misinformation.

What is it about and how can I hide it? Is it anything related to the forum or outside it?

Certain exchanges have a tiny chat window on their website and people often speculate about altcoins and give (false) information about pumps and dumps.
Best to ignore any trading advice given there.

You are losing because you trust some valueless altcoins. So do not blame trollboxes for that.
I bought before an altcoin depending on an advice from trollbox and I never could get my money back because the altcoin keeps falling.

Every person chatting on a trollbox is trying to earn the greatest profit that they are able to, no exceptions. No one is in there to make another person rich, and to think that anyone is in there for such an altruistic reason is an asinine way of thinking. You can chat with other people there socially and ask them for technical support, but if you do any trading based on information given there without verifying it with your own research, then you deserve any financial losses that you incur as a result. Trading is not just a game of numbers. It's like poker -- what you have in your hand doesn't matter if you let the person in front of you do your thinking for you.

As for the direct question on the OP, no. I ignore any nonsense on the trollbox unless I'm asking for technical support or clarification of some kind.

If you're losing money by using the troll box then your doing something wrong.  I didn't realise anyone even actually listened to the "advice"  people are giving on their.  Make your own decisions,  don't listen to troll boxes,  it's all bollocks.

when i was start to trading for the first time trollbox was make me so confused because a lot of users has predict the false prices and i was also follow their predictions and lost my money and now i would never use trollbox any longer and also i don't trust if someone else says they have good predictions and share it on trollbox

Most of the time i just close it or ignore it. When i trade i buy coins which i have research, so I know which coin to buy, I don't need them to let me decide.
Especially since 99% of what they say is bs.

Last couple months i have lost my bitcoin of trollbox but today i don't, because i have way of trading who give me profit and i follow it. Today i don't follow conversation of trollbox.

instead of calling it chat-box they have given it an appropriate name troll-box so i think it is obvious enough that people are trolling there and you don't have to even look at it unless you want to have a good laugh about it.

I still think that anyone using Poloniex should just be careful.

Their location has made me wary, but when it comes to a high volume alt coin exchange their are the no 1.
Even their troll box seems more sophisticated if you compare it with c-cex or yobiit.

I never buy/sell stuff because some dude in the trollbox said "buy buy buy buy time to buyzzz" or "sell sell sell now or cryzzz laterzzz". That's is stupid.

I usually am the one who make those kind of comments and that's usually when i am in %100 FIAT. If i am about to buy bitcoins i never check trollbox, only charts. Charts never lie :p

The best advice - listen to everybody, trollbox included. Even some ridiculous theories or speculations can become reality.
You have to listen, evaluate the situation and then connect the dots yourself. If someone is backing his claims with proper logic that is usually enough for me.

i have some experience with trolls i use to enjoy listening to them and earn when i timingly bought tokens and scan ahahah then dump while i already earn some sats but in the long run or investment do not listens to trolls just read and check the project.

I'm thankful that I did not lose any money with troll box because I was already aware that some people will just get you to buy so that they can sell the coins they are holding. If it had not been for this forum then I would have believed what they are suggesting because I have a tendency to believe especially there are people who will say that they will help me just follow their advise . I have read in advance in this forum or shall I say warning about troll box never to believe in them before I start trading altcoin/bitcoin so I did not fall victim into it though maybe there are some honest people there, better be safe than sorry.

I have not used Trollbox before and do not intend to. I would rather read the discussions on the various threads on this forum and learn from people's experiences.

I don't pay attention to the tollboxes, because I don't know who to trust. I'd rather some to the bitcoin forum to get more objective opinions, although you never know for sure on here either.

Best thing is to turn the trollbox off to avoid being unconsciously influenced by needless chatter which can divert concentration. Most of the chatters are trying their best to trick others.

Do you own proper analysis, and if you don't know how to, then at least attempt to learn from decent books etc (there are many).

people always decide without rational way of thinking when interacting with each other, trollbox will always have the effect on people whether is negative or positive.

This is happening to me before when i was newbie i just asking in trollbox or sometimes i just waiting for there sign to buy altcoin that i didnt know if there is a potencial to grow or not.. thats why instead of making a profit with those altcoin i am losing.. so for those who newbie here better to research first check it in coinmarketcap if this is coins is in top 40 list..

99% of people talking in a shoutbox are just trying to get you to buy some coin they are pumping.
Most people aren't going to give away tips to random strangers on the internet.  ;)
Maybe you can pick up some good info if you watch people talk long enough, but you could probably spend your time better elsewhere.

Yeah, as the name implies TROLLbox. Means they're just fooling you (although some are true). I am just reffering to the forums and not in he troll box. Also, I just loo at the coin they are talking to but I don't buy instantly when I see the coin is good. I do some research about them first. That's why, the risk of loosing bitcoin for me is low.

I try to avoid it as much as possible, it distracts me from trading and I end up spending my tiime talking to other users. Luckily the sites I use don't have a very active trollbox so I am able to avoid it easily. I think there should be an option to disable it on all exchanges.

On trollboxs/chats stays those that maybe have loss on trading or a group a people want to pump a coin and encourage others to buy buy.
I was never been influenced by these people, but sometimes is good to read if there is any news about that coin if you missed any at that time.

Always do my own due diligence, but sometimes I do get distracted and emotionally fiddled by them thou, especially the recent ETC ride :-\

When i am first at trading yes. Everytime that someone promotes a coin that it will go to moon i buy it hoping it is true. But the opposite of it will happen. Pro traders promote a certain altcoin to make newbies panic buying and to pump its price. So the sell order set by pro traders will be bought. But now i've already learned my mistakes, i don't listen to trollbox anymore. I buy a cheap altcoin with a good potential of course then wait for it to sell it at higher price.

I don't know why people even read things in the trollbox, the name is clear enough that is a box for trolls only and should never be taken seriously.
although part of it comes from the lack of experience in new traders who are looking anywhere for any kind of tip to act on it and make a little profit and since the world is full of scammers and bag-holders who are looking for these kinds of inexperience traders, they always fall for it and lose their money.

Yes, just yesterday Lol. I bought an altcoin, not knowing that its already dumping. So, the price dive to a very low point. I wonder when it will recover and just hoping to  ragin my losses. Not big enough lose,just several dollars :)

Yes sometime but now i learn a lesson from them to not believe in trollbox. Because in that happen when i believe in trollbox i lost money in yobit i buy a coins they suggest to then i'll buy it. After a month that coins become scam. If someone told you to buy that coins pls do not be at self decision than to lost your money.

I did listen to them 1 or twice and lost that when's when I traded on scambit(yobit) now I do not even listen if any thing once in while I'll talk hype on them..
Also lose yobit they are worse traders and site for scams

The only time that you should listen to the trollbox is when theres massive hype in a coin, probably because they're all pumping. Ride it, then sell because they're gonna dump within the hour. I did that with VIPcoin ^_^

But other than this, it's full of people desperately trying to get their coins out of the shitcoin.

Well right now on polo and the last week the etc train has been pumping hard and it seams to not be dying down... but alot people are pumping that coin.

Hahahah.... I'm always seeing that's people in the troll box, and like making trolling another people and made panic to investing their money on the coin is not a good choice and just to pumping the coin.

Theres always going to be some level of trolling, but to eye on it is sort of like cancer in itself..

what good comes out of it? when your focus should be elsewhere trying to increase your purchasing power through other forms... like focusing on your business for example is way more healthier outcome.

Nice, you should becareful and always use your rules of trading and you never lost your money by trollbox. Because you have clear rules of trading, when entry and exit market, when take profit and cut lost. Everything are clear.

I am trade on poloniex by handphone, there are not trollbox if we trade using handphone. And it is best way for me to not losing my by trollbox and it makes me focus in trading.

good idea it is much better doing it like that so no one can bother you and you can keep focusing on what particular coin that you wanted to support

Yeah thats good and that what i am doing i am trading using my phone because it is the easiest way for me to do so, and listening to troll box is not my doing and mostly i dont listen to them since those people posting their are just want to dump their baghold coins and other also is just trollin just to lift up their coins, and also i am good on my strat and my monitoring in trading and yet im earning without listening to the troll box.

when is hyp in trollbox, it's time to sell. if you don't have this coin, just ignore, and look for next winner.

I  would never listen to trolls as it's their job to promote crap coins so just ignore them however sometimes it can be proven otherwise though.

yes I've lost money because trollbox in poloniex, it happened long enough. when I panic when someone says these coins will be in the pump. but in fact the price of a coin dump lol. so this time poloniex very sensitive and outright ban when someone make a hype.

Never follow Trollbox, or try to filter info . Expecially in new alt,  trollbox could launch huge Pump, but after few times this could became big big loss

trollbox is not helpful so if you want to focus just don't mind them focus with your supported coin, and stay away
it is just focus that is needed for us to know which coin we are going to support for better earnings.

There are now a lot of groups who uses the troll box to hype dead or shit coins,so you should not put your trust on these groups,you can read and see the coin they want to pump but at the end of the day,it's your decision that you should heed..

don't listen on troll, better you watch by yourself. i think on the troll only a few people that really know about what they talk, and other else will just have to make another issue buy and sell. like this picture

Funny thing because sometimes the people on troll box are just group of people that have no money to pump their coin so they just flood the whole trollbox to advertise their coin. Yes, I have lost money because of the people on the trollbox. I was just a newbie in trading and I have no one to talk to so I asked in the troll box. Someone said that X coin will pump up in minutes and so I did buy thousands of them because I was greedy. Turns out, the troll just wanted to sell his coins to me. The coin didn't even rise.

this is the real thing which is happening right now people who's trolling the chat are those who's desperate to sell their coins and to distract traders they will keep saying that their coin is the best to buy.

That's what I'm trying to say, people there just write maybe because they are waiting for a sell/buy trade and don't knwo what to and then lets write on trollbox.
Some other require help where to invest and here comes the troll but personally I haven't been impacted by them to trade a specific coin yet.

no they are all the same, look at the altcoin discussion board, many of the twitter tweets, on reddit and many other places.
the bag-holders are everywhere trying to convince you to buy their useless coins and help them get out.

You can lose money if you follow the trollbox ,some of them are just paid troll,just to hype a particular coin or people that are bag holders that just want to hype the coin,you should always do a research on any coin that you're going to invest or trade..

Interesting question, Although I never invested relying on shots in trollbox because I am aware of paid trolls.  Yes, I get confused when I have a look on trollbox and it really makes me difficult to figure out difference between genuine opinions and paid trolls. I would suggest you to either keep faith on your research or don’t invest at all in any coin. You are likely to lose money if you invest based on hype of trollbox and if you win some amount, it’s a gamble with luck at your side.

Don't blame on people that chatting in troll box.
blame yourself that di not have knowledge enough and did not capable to do your own research and got fooled .
Troll box basically created to share your experiences on trading and sometimes used for fooling people such as you.

We should do our research before buying it, not just simply hear the words in trollbox. Btw, trollbox can be making money, if we buy before pump.

You may use the troll box, but just for you amusement. You can't make money by trusting it. I'll give you 3 reasons why:

1. You don't now the user who is "advising you"
2. For a pump and dump most of users are using trollbox just to find the fool ones to invest in something they have already planned to sell.
3. You don't use your brain

I'm sure you can find more reasons.

The best way to earn money with trading is a very good technical analysis for the coin you plan to sell/buy and sometimes your intuition.

Troll is full of FUD but there are some information you can get from there that can help your decision making and trading research. For example the launch of DAO ICO Ethereum was selling  less than $8 then, Ardor snapshot NXT was 1100sat then and so on. And also you can catch fun there

Its normally happen when your new and didn't have an idea how to trade you just listening in trollbox and hope that you can earn profit with listening at there I dea, but it will end loosing because there just want to sell there hold coin, much better if you have enough knowledge to trading than listening to other.
