Title: How much did you guys get your PCI-E extenders for? Post by: Chick on June 12, 2011, 02:30:23 AM I have a 4 card rig and the 2nd and 3rd card are running at 90c+. I'm stopping them now until I can get my hands on these extenders. I saw some for 15 bucks, is that the cheapest you can get them for?

Post by: 1bitc0inplz on June 12, 2011, 02:37:13 AM Yeah, they can be had for cheaper than cablesaurus.com (who also has an eBay store), but most (all) of those $4 cables come from China (which in itself isn't bad)... but the problem is the shipping. Most of them say they take 4+ weeks to arrive in the States.

1) You need to wait for them to ship from China. I got my first batch in under a week, but it could take longer. 2) You have cut the end off yourself. Honestly, if you're careful with a small knife or pliers or something you can easily cut off the end in about 5 minutes, just gotta watch the pins. If you can't wait or are afraid of breaking them if you try cutting yourself, just pay the extra and go with cablesaurus. Title: Re: How much did you guys get your PCI-E extenders for?
