too busy to catch Pokemon in London?

I am a seasoned Pokemon trainer. I will roam the streets of London catching Pokemon for you!

I am charging 0.1 BTC per hour for this service.

But I have to agree, Op. Your prices are verging on "outrageous"!  My neighborhood is empty and there are tons of gyms, being in Sydney and all. I've seen people charge $10 an hour at most.

0.1 BTC per hour? You've got to be kidding. Anyone who has a phone can go outside and catch Pokemons. If the fair rate for playing PokemonGo is 0.1 BTC per hour then I might as well ditch my day job and just do PokemonGo instead. Most people earn 10$-15$/per hour in first world countries, and you charge ~65$/per hour to play PokemonGo?

And also, after a month or two, the prices/value of pokemon would reduce. People are only paying money for PokemonGo because it's still new and they want to be the first one to be powerful in the game.

There is an element of danger whilst catching Pokemon in London.

Its not entirely 'safe' - hence the rate - it includes danger money! :-)

But technically - all you need is a Google account, which a buyer could provide, then you could do it anywhere in the world. The person could come to someone that isn't in London, and pay less. I literally have a gym next door I can access if I stand in the corner of my house.

I think you are asking for a very high amount , i don't see why people will pay you about 60$ worth of Bitcoin just for play a game instead of them.

If someone would want to get their own pokemons, I'm sure they will not hire someone else to do it for them but rather they will do it theirselves. The game was supposed to be played by someone who wants to be a pokemon trainer and explore their surroundings so paying someone else would loose the highlight of the game which is exploring it with your own.

0.1 per hour i may quit my real job and exchange for this easy money if there is anyone dumb to accept this offer lol but since 100% there will be no one i will not going to surrender my entertaining job atm.

For couple reasons:

1. As Op stated - people are often busy and don't have time to grind. Especially Pokemon Go can be very time consuming game.
2. The really like the game and they don't mind spending additional money on it just to see progress.
3. They want to brag about "their" achievements in game and show how many Pokemon they have to their friends.
4. And for many other reasons...

The point is Ops offer is vague, with not detailed explanation and any promise of anything (how much exp he can gain, how many Pokemon he can catch etc.)
And on top of that I can buy any new and top release AAA game for one hour of his service? Please be realistic Op.

Wow. This is kind of expensive, don't you think? The mist you could get is about 10$ per hour for cathing Pokemon. Anyone can do it anywhere, so why would people pay you 0.1 Bitcoin to catch Pokemon in a game. That is 1 Bitcoin for 10 Hours !
And I don't get people, why would you pay someone to play for you. Even if you want to show achievements to your friends it isn't worth 65+ dollars per hour when you can do it for free.

Well you have a valid point. In service safetiness should be covered but I still think .1 per hour is quite high. You should think that what you're offering is just a piece of game, the user can't gain anything from it's just a pokemon. I guess you're just going with flow of the hype that's happening on that game.

i dont get the point of spending that huge amount of bitcoin for catching pokemon you can do it your self even if your too busy dude and you are going to enjoy it better than spending without having experience just saying tho

Mee too. there is no point to give someone money to play a game for you. the games are created for time pass and fun reason. if someone very busy and don't have time it mean he don't need to play game. it is simple..
now paying someone to play your game is just none sense. what is the benefit of it? is this an earning game?

I can see by the reaction of people that this seems unfair / overpriced etc.

I've been on these forums for about 3 years and have offered various services over the years:

- flowers for Bitcoin - I offered to get a bouquet delivered anywhere in the world for 0.1 BTC (back in the day it was for about 1 BTC! LOL)

- Will be your friend for a week for 1 BTC - and yes someone did actually buy that service - he paid me 1 BTC and I was his best friend for a week - emails / SMS / chats etc.

- Hugs for BTC ( non-sexual) - this one wasn't so popular.

This is no different that people paying real money (or BTC) for Warcraft Gold - and that has been going on for many many years.

There you go then! I will be willing to negotiate my hourly rate for Pokemon catching if anyone is interested. Oh - and the "Be your friend for Bitcoin" offer is also still open. :-)

Ok i don't know much about this game and everyone seems to go crazy about it but i have a simple question.Aren't people losing all the fun if someone else catches the pokemon instead of them?

We wil be able to play pokemon go on mobile phone samsung galaxy mini pocket 2 or we will need better mobile phones I ask because I cant install in now when I use google so I dont know will I be able to install normal polemon go when it comes to store play.

Pikemon go is ready to play on mobile but it needs atleast 1 gb of memory or more and it eats more memory space so be aware of that. To play this requires a gps so you better have a working gps too.

People don't really care. They just want to show off that they caught the most to the pokemon walkers around their area.
I just didn't think that this 90's kids game would make such an impact on society 20 years later.
It is more about exploring places you never would go to(and a reason to get out of the house :D) than playing I think.

Well, let us take it in a more serious way. So @OP, does your offer have an average or min max count of pokemon that can be catched per hour/0.1 bitcoins? or is it in a random basis? Do you know some place in London where one can hunt legendary pokemons, which you can offer for your customers?

And there was one guy who really using his service :D But back on that day, 1 btc was $10~, so with the rate today, 0.1 btc is too expensive for just catching a pokemon lol.

No. You always want to reach a higher Level. It takes ages to Level up. And have of course you want to have all pokemons. There are just too many to get it all. It's very addictive and time consuming. 

And what is that danger? Oh sure maybe the Rocket team will come up, summon their pokemons and try to kill you, kiddo -.- .

0.1 brc is too much momey to psy to someone to some person who is pokemon trainernin pokemon go because it is too easy to catch pokrmon and who guarantee that you will even cantch pokemon for that person.

Everything is outsourced nowadays. Why not capturing Pokemons? This is a good deal for someone who has a lot of money and less time but wants to capture still all Pokemon.

i have to warn you that this kind of game is explicitly pay to win, even if this guy helped you to catch, you would still need to evolve with your time avaliable or even your money. i would believe that such credit needed would be enough to have a simple travelling for around 3~5 days.

others in the forums are doing this for less than $1 an hour or $1 for 2-3 pokemons, it just not worth it to spend $65 on 1 hr of pokemon catching , gimme $65 and i will sell you a level 15 account with atleast 30 pokemons . what are you actually trying to do o.p ?

Dudes if you don't have enough time to play Pokemon Go during the day you can simply install Bluestacks on your PC, get GPS spoofing going and you can walk and collect Pokemon around your area from the comfort of your own home. No sweat, no blisters, no danger of getting mugged by shady kids at Pokestops  ;D

Are you insane? The most you will get is 0.0002BTC per pokemon caught. Who knows what you may do to the email provided to you. This is out of someone's mind. Anyone can drive a car slowly and get some pokemons so why waste money on you?

The big problem that i see with this kind of services is that user needs to trust you its gmail account. I'm not sure, but some could be interested on buying a new gmail account with pokemon go linked on level X with X pokemons.

No,what if the user catches a legendary Pokemon  ? I'm pretty sure he would not give the account back,grow the account and sell it for much higher price.Typical shit service providers have shitty lives.I would never trust anybody with my gmail account what so ever.

I agree with you that Pokemon is time consuming, but it's the same with the old games on a gameboy. It took month if not years to catch all pokemons and train them. But not money.

So far it is still not fully clear to me how Ninentdo wants to earn a lot of money from Pokemon Go.

Its nothing new there are many other games that people pay others to level up for them etc. But the 0.1btc an hour is absurd. Far too much to be within reason.
