Post by: ParadiseFalls on July 22, 2016, 10:39:30 AM
Question about exchange markets, is there a way I can find which coin is currently making the most trades the fastest? Example C-Cex?

There are already many markets are there for trading of altcoins. And every market have different rates for buying and selling. As well as have different volume of market can depends on exchanger individually.

So its cannot predict where most trades are done.

Can' they predict by the the length of times between trades and how many trades one coin reached in a day?

You can any time check their market supply, money supply and Current volume of any particular coin on exchanger listing.

This help a lot to understand market move.

I think trading altcoin bit difficult, because we know altcoin movement is not the same with bitcoin. Since most PUMP and DUMP altcoin is a game certain people. If you are late taking a moment then you will miss profit, my advice if you want to trade altcoin join the group that was discussing that coin. Most people buy and sell altcoin based on the issues that exist :)

Coinmarketcap is a good site to get an overview with all those exchanges.
Simply click on a virtual currency and you get more informations about it such as a chart.
And if you want to know where it is traded, the volume and the price there, just click on the sign that says "markets".

I would recommend making a quick check on all major exchanges for the volume of your coin.

For example on yobit.net (http://yobit.net) you can search directly on the main page under the section "market" for your coin and see the volume traded. The most traded coins will be listed at the top.

It is not possible to check "the most trades" being traded on a coin, you can only estimate it based on the price and volume that it went through.
Still, a tough job TBH.

There are 'ways', but I believe that the most reliable method would be to write a bot for yourself which specifically harvests the information that you require. That way, you can crosscheck information across several exchanges as well as market comparison sites. Upon doing a quick search, the following altcoin-driven exchanges seem to have APIs that expose information on coin flow: Bittrex, Bleutrade, Cryptopia, Poloniex and Yobit. I'm not sure if sites like cryptocoincharts.info and coinmarketcap.com have public APIs -- I didn't look -- but you can just have the bot scrape the information from the site by itself.

While playing in altcoin market we must have to keep eyes on price of Bitcoins. As all altcoins are evaluated with Bitcoin unit value - satoshi.

So if price of traded altcoin goes up then can sell and check for price of bitcoin if it not so impressive then weight for price rise.

Before you invest in any altcoin, study the charts on coinmarketcap.com for about a week to understand the trend of each coin. From there you can make a calculated guess on which altcoin would be safe to invest in (at least within that time frame) because it just might crash at any time.

I think the coins vary in how volatile each is. One day bitcoin could be moving the most, another day etherium could have the most fluctuation. I think it just depends on the demand for that particular day. I would guess that mostly the more popular coins will have the most activity based on my experience.

I think most alt coin exchange websites have charts on the ups and downs so mentioning them in here would be pointless. In YoBit, whenever someone buys or sells a coin, the coin blinks in the list. People took advantage of this feature and made the coin they are selling blink a lot by buying the minimum amount you can buy and spam it. The name of the coin would blink a lot and if you don't know that they are just spamming, you might think that that coin is making a lot of trades.

Just like in your question, if there's a feature that gives out info in what coin has the fastest trades, people would just spam it the way I mentioned above.

How many exchanges are you on?  Are you trading already or looking to start?

Some exchanges have features to compare other exchanges trades in certain nominated coins with their own exchange's trades in a certain coin, but you have to dig around and see what each exchange offers.

The trouble with coinmarketcap is that it might only poll its prices from one of a handful of markets ignoring minor exchanges who only have small market turnover.  Again, you'd have to make some comparisons.

indeed units used bitcoin is satoshi because all altcoin paired with BTC. (ALT / BTC). For some altcoin is often influenced by the price of bitcoin, but some coin that is not qualified (shitcoin / deadcoin) has nothing to do with bitcoin. As an example for these coins PUMP / DUMP usually done by bots in the possession dev. So in other words PUMP / DUMP performed by the dev coin.

you can check the volume of that coin to see how well it is performing. for example you can check coinmarketcap.com to see the list of all available altcoins and their 24 hour trade volume. so when a coin is performing well temporarily that volume is rising.

for more detailed information you can check the exchange site itself, i am not sure about c-cex but bittrex that i mostly use has smaller time intervals for 30 minutes, and so on, so you can change how the chart is being displayed too in order to see the changes you want to see.

Almost every exchange I used shows data and charts about the most traded and most increasing and decreasing currencies in desired time frame. I'm currently using yobit.net for altcoin exchange as it has the largest collection of available cryptocurrencies to trade with.

Go to http://coinmarketcap.com/all/ and sort by volume. Then go to markets and look where the coins are mostly traded.

Different exchanger have different rate for buy or sell for independent altcoin and these rates may be vary by exchanger. Because lot of factors impact on trading of altcoins.

Already there are very few platforms that allows anyone to trade in altcoin market. But every exchanger has there own data about altcoin, as Market cap, Total volume, Highest bid, Lowest Bid, Buying rate and selling rate.

Also trader must have aware of market conditions, bcz Altcoin market is highly volatile.

Well I know Yobit.net is great exchanges site but I saw many people that their coins is disappeared or their accounts have been hacked?

This exchanges site is the best for me Bittrex, Poloniex and C-Cex as you said.

My favorite exchanger is bleutrade because it have about 100 cryptocurrencies.I like also bleutrade share which gives you part of bleutrade exchanger profit so if i buy 1000 shares could earn
every 12 hours 1-2 new shares. So 1 btc invest is profit 0.001-0.002 btc eveyr 12 hours, that is average but dividends depends on transactions size.
