Honestly I've been trying to buy 2 or 3 bitcoins for the last week and a half and have been unsuccessful. I will pay though paypal, I have a verified account. It will be instant payment, no scams or anything.

PayPal sucks, it's the #1 choice for scammers, that's why there's close to zero people accepting it for bitcoins. If a well known popular forum user wanted to buy some off me real quick with Paypal, I'd consider it. But your average Joe Schmo is very unlikely to be able to buy from myself or anyone else. It's a matter of trust. And frankly, you don't have any. Many of us have seen plenty of scams come and go. We've seen it happen a thousand times, and most of us aren't going to take the gamble. Most of us have been scammed by accepting PayPal for btc.

Nobody who has bitcoins wants PayPal. Offer something they might want (such as cash) and you'll find it very easy. As an example, you can mail U.S. Cash to me, and I'll send you bitcoins in return. Sounds pretty easy to me. Competition is getting tough which hopefully will continue to push the bar in regards to getting BTC via a fiat bank. BTC-OTC is something you should look into as well...
