You can't CPU mine ETH (you could but you would make a penny per day)
and you can't mine ETH with that 6570 GPU, not enough VRAM.

No amount of VRAM, you need 2GB at least.

You can might any other coin however.

I got the 2gb card.. do you maybe know a good guide on how to set up mining...

Do you maybe know any coins to mine just to test how it all works

Install the AMD Catalyst drivers and download the Claymore miner in the other thread. Easiest way to see if it will work.

However those GPUs are very old and low end, you won't get much hashrate out of them.

That GPU would only provide you loss in mining... You should purchase some good GPU and PSU and then jump into GPU mining, otherwise it's useless. I don't think so that any altcoin would be able to provide you any profit when mining through that GPU.

You might want to start y looking at other coins if you fancy mining anyways,  eths lifetime is looking shorter everyday and if the price drops back down much further then it's not going to be that profitable to mine.  I don't know if i could justify buying a new gpu just to mine it because you don't ever make a return of investment on it before it switched to pos.
