Saw on FB, most posts is about 'Pokemon Go'...(maybe becoz my country just launched this week)

The game itself is shit.
But everyone is playing it because everyone else is playing it too.
Fighting for example, you just randomly tap your screen and hope for best, lol :D
And when I tried to use it myself it crashed 5 times before I was able to create my account and start playing...

Game is very interesting cause forcing people to go outside, and it's also something new for us.

This game captures the desires of many in not only the older generation that grew up with pokemon, but even the new generation. It is also much more casual of a game that the latest pokemon versions and can be played on a "console" that a huge amount of the population owns. A smart phone.

it's a great idea for a game, like before was dance dance revolution XD, fun, social, and you can exercise while you play :)

it's because pokemon go is the first game that makes you not stay at home. so many people are interested in it.

Pokemon go isso crazy now because pokemon is most popular movie and in mobile phone it is new type of game anf everbody like new things so this pokemon game is so special created.

It actually shows a new concept of augmented reality to gamers and allows them to interact and walk in the society rather than lie down in their house. It is much better than Candy Crush or Clash of Clans

With a world looking like it has generally gone insane, people are rushing to Pokeman as a lifeline and escape. It has become a soother for a seemingly out-of-control world. Within reason, such an outlet might be helpful for some. Whatever helps.

Well at least those users are not cheating.. it's even sadder seeing how many cheaters there are.

I honestly see with the how poorly Niantic supports the playerbase via communication and their track record of taking forever to update small things (Ingress), sadly Pokemon Go probably won't maintain the levle of popularity it currently has. I am currently addicted to the game, but am getting very frustrated with how the company is handling the game.

The only reason it's popular is because of the franchise, and it introduced many people to augmented reality games.  The brainless masses don't care (or even know that) pokemon GO pretty much ripped off Ingress' code and painted over it with new skins (but added pokemon / pokemon catching).

Always hilarious when people go crazy over something 'new' while the rest of us have been playing with the underlying tech for years...

The game itself is a steaming pile of shit, and a disgrace to the Pokemon games which came before it - you can't even level up your monsters, or battle other players in real time, or trade, or do any of the thousands of things that made the original game boy games so addicting...

I always saw people playing Pokémon. The players are addicted to this game. Kids and even adults are playing this. This game looks good but many negative effects on your everyday life. This game could lead you to accident causing death if youre not aware on your environment especially for kids coz theyre careless and not aware on surroundings.

I think this game will last quite a long time as I believe more features will be added to keep players attracted in the future

Because it's something new and interesting for people, if they will add something new soon, more people should come.

Why would you say pokemon becomes crazy now? When I was a kid and the old pokemon came out for a gamboy it was almost the same. Of course older people had no gameboy and therefore no access to the game but now with everybody having a smartphone. The access to the game is very easy. The game is just so addictive.

its a bit silly but the idea is greate, theres so much shit going on in the world and if a game can make people forget about it for a while it's great. there are more serious shit to complain about.

Because, it give us a new way to play a game. In the world which people are not have high exercise, they just sit in front of monitor and play a game, only their fingers are moving, this game force us to have exercise by walk. Besides the name of "Pokemon" already has their own costumer or fans, this game actually is a pokemon gamers dream. They can act like a trainer, catch monster, grow them and even make a battle request to another player. It realisation the virtual activity in pokemon game.

This game is making people lose their minds :-\  I like Pokemons but I'm not crazy about it. Think that it will be forgotten like any other one-time hot game.

Mass psychosis in people over the game in the Pokemon has become a cause for concern authorities. There is a conversation to start banning the game in some areas. Most likely the time will come when the Pokemon is outlawed.

I refuse to play it. I mean with how distracted people are these days, why bother getting into it.

I have no clue whatsoever as to why this is so popular.  I'm sure this will die Quickly though. Seems like just a Fad like Angry Birds.

It's like joining a team, which can be a powerful feeling: To be included, to have a mission and a purpose.

Most of the people that are playing are kids that have the summer off so you can expect that kind of behavior from them.
They have gone crazy for it because it is a faucet for them to meet other gamers which most of them are just staying indoors playing their games. :D

I don't know but it's insane. My 20 y old friends are playing this all the time. But I think this boom will go away in a few months!

It needs a continual entertainment value in order to grow. There's a lot of potential as it is a well known icon established over 20 years.

This craze will last until people get tired of it right after some 3-LA introduces a new game that'll be all the rage in amassing the traveling habits of its populace. Think about it. Apologies if you missed the connection ... but there's another one at the next bus stop around the corner from your home unless you like cutting through the park.

Let's try this again now that I've taken the time to read all 52 posts to date on this thread and seeing that most everybody's not playin' with a full deck, perhaps waiting for the next BFL-esque entity to enter the crypto scene so that they can get their pre-order in early.

As the image above depicts, Pokemon Go is NOT just a game as I've guessed - I just had a theory. My simple search seems to cement that theory. I've yet to date click on a single link including the ones above to read what others have to say about the connection.

Needless to say that the company behind P-Go is easily worth over a billion dollars due to the vitals it has collected to date and will continue to do so for a long time.

Honestly, I've dreamed of going out into the world and catching the pokemon for myself since the first pokemon cartoon was released.
We play it with my younger son. He really likes to catch monsters and collect them.
But I can't say that we become crazy.

Most people are only playing so they dont get left behind as everyone else is player but 90% of the current players have no idea what pokemon was before this game came out and still have no idea of half of there names lol.

Today, set in a society is maturing a lot of negative emotions for the game Pokemon and those who have played this game. It matures real madness. While one woman said that this game has contributed to her weight loss. Perhaps the only positive note.

I think it will last for a few years until all the pokemon release have been catch :D

I think the only people that are crazy about pokemon Go are the type of people that are looking for attention and wants to follow the trend set by the social media. Most people that plays pokemon Go does nothing but upload it on Facebook.

There is a lot of information that many people from different countries want to have to sue the developers of Pokemon. I do not know how they will pass the proceedings, but because of this hysteria, the court can go play.

It's just something new, and people hyping, but im not interested already.

If you start playing this game you need to first make sure that it suits you or not you will suffer because of someone or your family members. The discontent of the game Pokemon very much in society.

Because its fun! I don't see it surviving for longer though, unless they implement a good update.

I really wasn't interested when I first heard about it, and my lack in interest of it increased when I found out it became popular. I like traveling, but not in a way to 'scavenger' hunt. It's just not my thing.

I am surprised my generation and after is even interested, but hey, it involves a smartphone, so it has to be cool!

On a related note, they are making a Harry Potter one. I am an avid fan of Harry Potter, so I may just try it out when its released-- only cause it's Harry Potter though.

This is just one reminder of the first that should alert the developers, and maybe you need to change the strategy for the promotion of a normal game.

I do not know what to say. I have not tried to play Potter and do not know what is the game, but still think it is more interesting and attractive than Pokemon.

I love games. I've played thousands of games and Pokemon GO is the worst game I've ever tried in my life. I don't know and I can't understand how can it be so addictive!

Perhaps the only positive point in the new game Pokemon, is that it forces people to move, not to lie near the TV. True negatives also still not complete, but it's not far away.

When there is a new game created that shows our being kid again. But I think Pokemon will really be as interesting for long its adaptability in modern tech  being able to use the GPS and the excitement of collecting and evolving those Pokemon by training were really exciting. More pokemons to come.

Games always bring us back to childhood. I know it's not because of foreign stories. I have a husband for almost 40 years and his ears are not ottyanesh from video games. He plays like a madman. It would be a time that would play all day.

Pokemon Go is a craze before because of its different ways to play it. Set an app to your phone and you could start playing in different levels. People are going crazy because it has different levels. If you reach on the top level it sets something about reputation and popularity. It is very exciting as you just need to find a place everywhere where you can spot a pokemon. There is a specific score. The more you score, the more it gets exciting. Right now this game flopped due to botting and no recent updates.

I thought why pokemon go so very loved by the public during the months yesterday as the phenomenal game using GPS technology which is running to catch pokemon as in reality. catching pokemon because it was like being in the real world. maybe.
but during these days I see a decrease in interest to play pokemon games go, I think pokemon go only famous for a while.
