Title: RECEIVING COUPONS IN YOUR WALLET Post by: Chilly80 on August 01, 2016, 07:36:03 AM Hello
Sorry I'm new to this and I haven't found anything to help me. I bought Bitcoins in a shop where they sell them and I got a coupon whit 16 digit code. I went to the page where you have to enter the 16 digit coupon code, bitcoin addres and you other data. I use Bitcoin Core, and i clicked on receiving money and generated new address. I entered this address to that page and I don't have anything in my wallet. I got a confirmation on my email that transaction is confirmed, but when i open this link it sends me to a page http://blockr.io, where it shows my balance. What to do? How to get this to my wallet? Please help me Thanks Title: Re: RECEIVING COUPONS IN YOUR WALLET Post by: shorena on August 01, 2016, 09:52:24 AM Is core synced?
Is the address correct and the transaction confirmed? (verify with the blockchain explorer of your choice) -> https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Category:Block_chain_browsers Title: Re: RECEIVING COUPONS IN YOUR WALLET Post by: Decoded on August 01, 2016, 09:51:27 PM Let me clarify. That blockr.io link was showing you your transaction.
First thing's first, check if the receiving address in the transaction is yours. Letter for letter. Secondly, you're using core, meaning you have to sync. Has your wallet synced,? (Should say "Up to date or something along those lines. Haven't used core in a while.) Make sure your looking in the right account ^_^ |
