Login issues with the FRC pool. I can't seem to stay logged in.

Yeah I am starting to wonder what the hell is up with those rounds.... That is very detrimental to me and if not fixed soon will have to switch to another pool.

I am one of those who first  try this pool when my power is not allowed to be solo mining. last time I worked more than 60 hours after block 39,597 and left without waiting. Now pool paid reward for block 40,096 and I got the coins. I think everything is taken into account. On buttom statistics page  seen

My amount of shares has also been stuck at "Updating" for a couple of days now. I'm switching pools until someone can verify this pool is legit. I have 2,594 unpaid shares across multiple blocks that have been confirmed, I have no reason to continue on this pool at the moment. Sorry guys

everyone knows that. Problem is.... There is no "unconfirmed reward" info or round delimitations on the frontend. I shouldn't have to guess and hope for 2 days. Until that is addressed, I'd rather pay 8% pps on coinotron.

PPLNS is not for pool hoppers. Share difficulty has been change and block rewards too, thus and so "Estimated Per Payout" is variable.

Please report what you get here, this pool is just sketchy so far

edit: I just got a payout and only 1/6th of my shares were counted as valid, after telling me earlier that all were valid...

My basic understanding is you mine until blocks are found, and then you get paid your shares for that block when it's confirmed. I made a lot less than if I just mined somewhere else though because it ended up counting the majority of my shares as invalid and didn't tell me until the end. Not sure what's up. I'm going to give it one-two more blocks before I move pools now. I'm thinking maybe one issue for me is latency, the server seems to be far away from where I'm at

I'm gonna keep an eye on this.

The pool has been stuck in the same round forever and proportionally pays per share per block because the rounds aren't configured properly. I know how PPLNS works. This pool doesn't work how it should. Being PPLNS, theoretically, since my shares were half of total of the pool, I should of gotten 1/2 of the reward during the round (although I shouldn't exactly have had those shares because if a round cutoff was present it would have been different).

Either way.... I got a grand total of 160ppc for mining 12hours with hash rates that should give me 3000ppc per 24hours. I don't know where the other ppc went considering I had more shares than everyone else combined and and 3 blocks were found.

can you please offer PPS with a not-greedy fee?

If others can post their experiences that could be great. So far it feels like a scam or just poorly put together

I'm getting very high reject levels mining PPC on vPool, 5-10%. I don't get that with Coinotron, and didn't get it with bitparking either.

I go down to my basement tonight for some RAM upgrades, and its really cool (temperature). I know something is up. I log into my rigs, and they're at half the hashrate they're supposed to be for averages. I see I am getting constant pool disconnections. Sorry, this pool isn't for me. Admin, you gotta fix your shit. You probably cost me in the area of $150 because my miners were not 100% active all night. Also, I am not seeing any rewards for mining during this period. We found TWO blocks, but I am not seeing any indication what my reward is anywhere.

I don't think it's a scam, though I did thought so at first.
2 days ago I started mining for 16 hours with ~330Mah/s and it shows I need to get paid for 2.1 PPC when confirmed, I immediatly switched to coinotron, but I just entered my profile and it shows that half of my shares are accounted for (some still waits confirmations) and my balance is 5.33790279 PPC..

So I don't know, maybe the estimated PPC is wayyy off, but it does eventually gives you the coins at the end?

What did it actually send to your wallet? What was displayed on the page and what it actually sent me were very different

Well that's what I said before, the round cutoff is non-existant and acts as 1 big round so its proportional pay per  share pool giving estimates of pplns. Its not working correctly, but should pay roughly the same.

But the pool operator prefers to not acknowledge the problem and call us, what, troublemakers or something? That's reason enough for me to not mine there even if its not a scam.

Its not our first day mining. If everyone says there is a problem and you say there is none, you should definitely reconsider.

for me, I was at 360ppc after my unpaid shares got all marked at paid, but today, I still get a little bit per blocks found, now up to 600. That's why I assume its gonna be roughly the same. Since its 1 huge round, I should get an ever decreasing pay per block. I guess my proportional analogy was inaccurate.

Edit : also, the top 15 contributor gives a somewhat illusion of rounds because it shows unpaid shares, not shares of the round, which is also not how pplns works. And just because of the fucking mind oblitaring answer to issues by the pool admin :

Get the duck out of that pool it would take 100 days to get your full payment (if the admin is that shit at building a pool from a template!) Or never get full payment if this is a scam.

Mine PPC on coinotron in one window with high intensity. Then mine BTC in another windows with -d intensity. When coinotron goes down the BTC window will ramp up.

there is only coinotron currently (sad truth). Bitparking closed for the reason stated by the admin (I shouldn't have to answer that) and the reason cool is marked as scam and a topic was started is evident in the claims in this thread AND amplified by the pool admins answer.

Coinotron doesn't want monopoly, they cannot sustain that much power and I am sure they would very much like another viable pool. This is not.

And advertisement? Where do they really do that more than someone else? And why advertisement is a bad thing? Consumers buy into advertisement, they speak with their wallet. It doesn't hurt anyone and many great, legitimate businesses survive with advertisement in 2013 (Google, car manufacturers, start ups, artists....

Give me a pool that is not stealing money from me by poor management or scam, I'll buy into it, until then, your reasons to defend are 100% dull.

Try looking at some of the config files for the pool. There are many instances were the payout is hardcoded to be relative to 50 bitcoins. Of course, we are actually mining ~680 PPC per block right now, so that might be why people are getting paid so little.

If you are using greedi's fork of mmcfe, that's what I will be using most likely

 I'm sorry but I do not understand the programming. I've make my rig by HOWTO.  I think that the error is due to the network. Look at my screenshots 4 posts up. The blocks are not confirmeded in order. I write in vpool support of the morning, they promised to ask the PPC developers. As soon as I saw the error, I sold all the coins on btc-e. I am satisfied!  ;D

You are can to think our pools scam. We will not claim otherwise. And also discuss about other fake vpool. Pools will work all paid time. It is more than two months. We recognize that there is little time taking the test PPC pool before going into production. Minor bugs found in the code and corrected now. We do not know the main error. We hope to hear answer the developer or other competent persons. Why we have a nonlinear block confirmation.
Our plans. Information about estimated  payout, we plan to remove. This is misleading. Perhaps instead we make the page with pool's payout, if they wish our miners.
On the block will be automatically paid 41.851. Now all the issues of payment with your justification to submit by email. We will consider on an individual basis.

I can confirm that I just received two small payments (both just under 1ppc) from Vpool.us, though the transaction history does not make much sense, both payments are mentioned there as well.

if through all those accusations you were aware of bugs and stayed silent, that's what confirmed those accusations. You could have avoided scammer status by talking.

Just a few notes - I think most of your bugs are coming from mmcFE. Connecting to your servers with miners works, but it sucks for us in the USA because of latency and we lag out - that's not something  that can be helped though, and it appears you have ppcoind and pushpool set up correctly.

mmcFE took me a few days of playing around with to get it right and I am still not very happy with it. The biggest bug I dealt with (which you may want to check) is how you are computing difficulty. When you use the getdifficulty api with  ppcoind, it does not differentiate between stake block difficulty and proof of work difficulty. For example, difficulty can be 300,000 from proof of work, then drop down to 9,000 for a few consecutive pos blocks, then back up to 300,000 for another pow block. When you use getdifficulty API, you get an array instead of a double (like you would with other coins) - this array contains both the latest pow and pos values from what I remember. You have to explicitely call the 'proof-of-work' element from the getdifficulty array.

Anyway we will probably both run into future bugs because mmcFE was not built for ppcoin, and ppcoin has many different things than BTC. After working on this myself, I understand that your mining pool was probably misconfigured\had bugs rather than you were trying to explicitely scam people. Let me know if you want to work on ironing bugs out together, we have essentially the same code now. Also, I switched my domain from vPool.me to VuxilsPool.com, so we can avoid confusion on that part.

I've pretty much said from the start its probably bugs, but the way he disregarded and treated those claims, scam alert doesn't seem in appropriate to me.

 Hi Vuxil. We correct work with array in all mmcfe code.
Used only proof of work difficulty. Was problem with linux perfomance when connect above 300 miners but quickly eliminated. We think problem  with ppcoind only. Now in work ppcoind without support ipv6. May be support this protocol to led malfunction.

- Block chains(numbers) not match coinotron (from there i can withdraw TRC and its working)

i read whole thread and i decided to try it. it seems there is alot issues and if we bring them on maybe he can fix it. he has tried to fix ? atelast answered for questions

but he should do a notice on frontpage: the pool is under repair and paid out not working, pool on beta stage(testing)
then maybe ppl not expect big things from this one

Notice the timestamps. He has COMPLETELY disregarded and basically answered "fuck off" to those reporting malfunction. And then after a while he says "yeah issues here an there"....

Anyways, I don't see why one would ignore those warnings when there are excellent alternatives.

Today, we zero out all the balances and shares in the SQL tables of our TRC pool! It was a difficult but correct decision. After starting ours pools we do not  luck. And it's not our errors. The problem with ppcoind exist:

I was very close to using the pool, but i was getting a tons of rejects.


I've also tried to mine p2pool but my mining status showed nothing but rejects!!! How can i solve this problem?
