Title: Help with some coins
Post by: logansryche on June 12, 2011, 07:07:45 PM
Since the whole newbie spam thing went into effect, I'm forced to post my questions here so here we go.
Also, didn't see the resolution to this anywhere.

On the site mining.bitcoin.cz, it said I had 8.09 BTC.
I checked the status again a few minutes later and it now reads 0.00039887 BTC.
I did sign up with mybitcoin.com for my wallet and I did check with them over there and the wallet shows zero ballance.
I'm just curious what happened and where my 8 coins went.

Did you transfer them? Did you perform some action that would have affected your account?
What does your account history say on each provider?

I didn't transfer anything and transaction history says null(nothing).

You can use blockexplorer.com to check if your coins were sent to you mybitcoin address. I think mybitcoin waits for some confirmations until it shows the amount as received. Your payout history should show the transfer though.

Did you set a Send threshold of 8 BTC?

Slush's pool, the one you talk about, cashes out to the address you associated it with every X bitcoins. You set that threshold. And it takes 6 more blocks found by the bitcoin community to verify any transaction so you have to wait ~1 hour for it to show up.

Been waiting going on 5 hours now for this.. and the threshold is set to 0.01
Tried blockexplorer just a few minutes ago and it said my information was still null.
Verified amount said 8.09 and didn't send the ammount anywhere(does it do that automatically?)
If it's just a waiting game, I guess all I can do is wait -.-

I had requested like 0.01 BTC from BTCGuild and it took till the next day to get enough blocks to be sent to me.
