Title: Cryptographic Coprocessor
Post by: chalbersma on March 27, 2013, 01:47:52 PM
Anyone tried mining with this:
http://www-03.ibm.com/security/cryptocards/pciecc/overview.shtml

It's an IBM cryptographic co-processor. It should be able to do hashing if my understanding is correct.

edit: Mods I'm moving this to the hardware section. Please Delete.

I doubt anyone has. I think they're around $10,000.

Oracle Sparc processors have built-in crypto processors in them. By a used T3 and try it out.
