Title: Is BFL dumping their Bitcoins?
Post by: gill83 on March 28, 2013, 10:31:40 PM
The word is around that BFL hasn't touched their pre-order money, which I believe.

If they have kept the original Bitcoins, they must have 95-100 million USD in Bitcoins right now (25000 orders x Average 50 Bitcoins per order x 75 USD/bitcoin).

Is the recent crash due to BFL dumping their Bitcoins?

No, that's not what they said. Look into it, and you'll find they said something very different.

 ::) $100,000,000 (USD) ::)

Trips to Vegas cost a lot of money. So do aluminum cases and fans.

Their preorders were handled through Bitpay. Best I know, BFL did not receive many Bitcoin preorders, as most of that was converted directly to fiat at time of preorder through Bitpay.
