Title: Staking Web or mobile wallet
Post by: fameDev on September 08, 2016, 03:09:20 PM
I am planning to develop a staking web and mobile wallet for my project.
Before i start i will like to know if any opensource version exist so i can build on that.
If anyone has any idea on this, please responds to this thread so we can share information to others who might also be interested.

Sadly no. (or at least I dont know). I tried to search something like that but couldn't found any. the formula of this technology must be availabe somewhere in online. you may need to do proper search in github where almost all altcoins's sources and codes available. you may get POS Tech there..
but you have to get a professional developer to create these systems.

I believe in NXT you can lease your account to join a forging pool. I am not 100% sure with this so it would be good to ask in their community.

I am actually going to develop one in coming weeks.
Will still be researching into the staking feature.
What i've noticed could be the problem is the in wallet account operations through rpc calls.
staking must be disabled to run account operations on wallets.
I'm still looking into it.

I believe the NXT way of forging is the same as the PoS we all know of, you still have to leave your account online to stake and get some tx fees.
