Its for helping people and discussing it in general

looking for several paid participants just to kickstart it.
I'm Willing to pay 15USD (in bitcoin ofcourse) per participant per month - Minimum 10 15 messages a month

I was a victim of ransomware (CryptoWall to be exact) before so I researched that subject quite extensively.

It was the first and the only time I was furious that cryptocurrency was ever created. Human viciousness + new tech allowed people to create new kind of threat.

About your offer - it is interesting - as long as you could guarantee payment somehow: either pay upfront or use escrow who will hold funds for a whole month.

Gaining knowledge against ransomeware must be most needed thing when seeing so many such threads.
If you pay me upfront I will be interested in writing there or with an escrow commonly for all the participants here.

How many total participants you will be looking for, with offer of 15 USD per month for minimum 10 posts. I too like to suggest you to arrange escrow so that you might be flooded with many requests. Please check your PM.

Yes, really a huge pay, but initially a forum may afford that for the purpose of promotion.

Im aware its a big pay, and I don't mind paying (50% upfront)
But I also strongly prefer people who have interest in the topic rather then people who just want to make some BTC :)

the goal is not just to get to 10 messages. the goal of this is to create an active community there... the 10 messages is the minimum requirement I put :)

this type of malware is getting big enough that the latest windows 10 updates are going to include ways to deal with the threat, there is little information out there, but i think that Windows intends to store a stunted copy of your profile and information in a server and that you can quickly re-install Windows as it grabs that info. of course the first thing that comes to mind for me hearing something like that is the fact you are now giving the virus access to a server to spread to all those that have their profiles on the same server.

I know cryptowall had no decryption tool yet... so I guess the only way to get rid off it is to pay :\ unless you have a backup or can just accept the loss of the data

I have registered and am now reading on google very carefully about ransomware. I am using a hardware wallet so I am safe of such threat for my coins as all I need is a reinstall of Windows or Linux (yes this virus is possible in Linux too as I am reading now).

Hi i have read your page and found it to be interesting. but i feel there is a difference in Ransom and Ransomware.
Ransomware stops you from using your PC. It holds your PC or files for "ransom". I think people are confusing it.

you miss the point... the idea is not to post 10 messages a month (thats really nothing, I know that) the idea is to be an active forum member. I'm not looking to spam my new brand and shiny forum :)

If ransomware done right, its almost nothing you can do

I am working as tech support and have a my own service, some few months ago I sow many infected firms here, most were directly targeted from someone which infected few computes here, strange a two months ago all attack stoped

I ca only guess it was someone from this location which initiated data mining and targeted only ppl which would pay ransom, most personal PC users would never pay anything more then 10$ for sure

Most were targeted over email from a partners which had their mail in outlook,and it was written in local language so they fall easy

There are hundreds of users that will kept learning what ransomware just so they can make a god discussion on your forum. They will make it like its a busy forum. You get to screen the users allowed to posts in your forum, the higher their rank, the better their posts are.

to people who qualify I pay 50% upfront and the rest of the 50% when the month is over... you can ask people who joined if I paid them when the month was over...

as long as the information that is in you forum is good and does not leading to hackers using you site to find targets
then u forum will be a good help to users that want to stop this kind of attack and if the user have special experience in dealing with
this then a lot of member will join to find help.

Yeah, this could be the danger of this forum. Hackers would probably also visit it and trying to get as much information they can. So, users should be careful with the data and information. Otherwise is a good idea to help people with ransomware, this has realy become huge problem.

I dont think the forum users are good targets... usually good targets are people who are not aware of ransomware...
Also most ransomware comes from spreading it over the internet and not as a direct attack (but there are exceptions ofcourse)

I'm want to make out of it a big support center for ransomware. currently there is only bleepingcomputer forum that is worth something :)
