How do you think the price is going to be affected?

They may dump even large for this event too, i am thinking to open shorting order on margin.

Perhaps it was priced in. It is possible that the big whales are just accumulating the Ethereum. So they suppress the price to get more. ETH has shown quite a bit of resilience despite all the negative press and the challenges that the Ethereum Foundation has gone through after the DAO hack and the hard fork. So recommending getting a short position on ETH might not be good advice at this point.

The fact that Coinbase has started to accept it probably means it will be around a while, I think. Once a big company accepts a coin I think that's the first major step to becoming a legitimate payment option. So this concludes that there is no effect on the price despite the good presentations done in Devcon 2. The more encouraging signs for Ethereum would be the millions of $ that are now in the platform because of the success of 2 or 3 Ethereum based ICO.

The price of the Etheruem has risen a lot since January. |
