Can you take the courage to draw a new symbol of the coins? Thai Baht embarrassing. As such a symbol been decided yet ? If not, I would suggest a drawing of a key, with the two traditional vertical bars for currencies. Title: Re: Bitcoin Maneki Neko Post by: bitboy on November 01, 2010, 07:04:45 PM Looks nice ! Can you take the courage to draw a new symbol of the coins? Thai Baht embarrassing. The reason is that since the graphic provided by Satoshi is so popular, I would prefer to stay true to the original design. Until we have enough people to voice out for the concern, I think I'll stick with the original for now if that's ok. I think the B symbol would look even better without the serifa.

Cheers. LOL, this is cute. BTW, bitboy - are You japanese by the way ? I am ethnic Chinese. I can see why you thought I might be a Japanese. 招き猫 is in fact Japanese. In Chinese, the character is similar (招财猫) except for the middle character. I thought I'll put in the Japanese character just for fun since Maneki Neko originated in Japan, not that I speak any Japanese at all. |
