Anyone who offer this would most likely scam u. Cause both credit card & paypal are reversible in nature. But, if u r in US, u may try CoinBase.com or Circle.com with your credit card.

but how would they scam someone? if someone sends them money via credit card or paypal and the service sends you the bitcoin, then you have the coins and this isn't reversible. if they later want to revers the credit card or paypal payment, then please let them as they would send you your money back.

There is two possible scams here.

On the buyer: Buys bitcoin with credit card, receives bitcoin, follows charge back with credit card company. Seller loses his bitcoin and money.

Seller: Buyer buys bitcoin with credit card and never receives or charges user unjustified charge amount. Seller wins credit card disposition.

Of course, since we are new and low reputation, taking precautions is understandable.





Are you serious ? how can a seller scam the buyer if he charge his card / paypal and does not deliver the product ?

Where are you from? I have seen that there are many bitcoin ATM in many countries and maybe an ATM is near you, I don't know about the fees that these tooks but it worth trying.

for paypal since you're a newbie , it's going to be hard to trust you since lot of newbies in here who gonna scammed us with paypal cuz their reversible payment after swap the currency . So , buy with credit cards for the easier method.

That seems like a scam. No ID or verification. Don't be sad when they take your money and run. I recommend using Localbitcoins with a trusted seller or using Voinbase.

I use coinbase for all my bitcoin transactions.  i find it very easy to use and I can access the coinbase account whenever I have internet access.

If you find your country in the list check for credit card option and look at the terms they have. Other than them cex.io can be option but they are not quite popular like coinbase.

I know that BTC-E, Coinbase, Localbitcoins, and some other websites are pretty good, and I haven't used all of them but they seem to have relatively decent reputations throughout the community. As for exchanges for your local area, I have no idea. Localbitcoins is your best bet.

i think for best option of sell your btc is localbitcoins where you need to provide the options to pay himself for Bitcoin .

There are a lot of websites that are letting you buy some bitcoins, you can also do it in person by the way at localbitcoins.
You should only do this with large amounts otherwise its just a waste of time for both you and the dealer.

There are sellers accepting bitcoins at localbitcoins.com, you can buy at the currency exchange sections in this forum(I suggest trying to buy when you have spent some time on this forum, like when you hit full member status or something, if you don't want to receive red trust for buying btc with paypal since it is reversible). I can also suggest coinbase when paying with credit card but you can only sell bitcoins for paypal currently, and not the other way around. That is all I can suggest since you don't want to use virwox.

for me much better to buy in P2P method, you can ask for the discount specially if you buying huge amount of bitcoin. Be careful in every step you made in buying, you need to look for trusted seller and correct that you need to ask for help of escrow.

From exchange site find one that accepting credit card or paypal i think xapo or coinbase is right one to buy bitcoin using your credit card but there are some confidencial documents that they need you to provide for those security purposes of the owner of the credit cards make sure that is true :) so they won't banned your ip and your account either.

Why not you check out the currency exchange section. There are many opportunity you may find or you may use coinbase for best exhange.

you can use different methods for buying bitcoin, as i have no persona experience but have heard from people that using paypal you can buy bitcoin but their fee charges are too much.

there is no such thing as a low fee. Not even localbitcoins.com
most people on there charge a 5-10% spread fee. Totally useless imo.

The cheapest you can do is find an exchange, however they require ID.

This is why they are asking for a large % in markup for their coins. because not even real companies want to deal with paypal and their chargebacks. It will get the companies official paypal account limited within a matter of a month if they take alot of transactions. And how can they appeal those chargebacks? They can not say they got those payments from doing bitcoin transaction. That is against their terms of service and the chargebacks will go thru.

it is hard to buy bitcoin via paypal or credit card in asia, most well know bitcoin selling site do not offer service in my country or require manual approval process.
just want to buy 0.1-0.3 bit coin to buy some emailaccount/website accounts...

Coinbase.com is one of the most good buying bitcoins using credit card and if you want paypal visit virwox it is good too but high fees when you are trading fiat into bitcoin, Try coinbase im using this with my friend and it is good anyway :) but if you want you can ask google about this.

There's quite a few places you can purchase Bitcoin from, although the majority require ID + Address verification. If you're afraid of this process you can always purchase bulk loads from Local Bitcoin or small amounts through eBay for increased use on a consumer scale. (a bit above standard rate).

In more detail, there's a majority of Bitcoin Teller Machines (BTM's) in which more abundance can be acquired. Throughout other service providers there's loads of exchanges to note for (as mentioned above) Xapo, Coinbase, etc.

Agreed, there are plenty of trusted sites sites around, it's better to avoid new/unheard of sites at least until they've proven that they're trustworthy and reliable. If you want to use your debit/credit card go with Circle, they're hands down the best if you're using cards. For PayPal, LocalBitcoins is probably the best choice although it is recommended that you find trusted traders with plenty of positive feedbacks/trades, especially when buying with PP. Personally I only buy from sellers with +1000 trades and 100% positive feedback.

I use onl bitkonan for buy bitcoin and never I didnt used other sites because bitkonan have very loow fees almost nothing so it is best for use.

Yes currency exchange section sometime it has big percentage but some of them are doing 1:1 trading but be careful trading someone sometimes you really can save fee's but you will get scammed in the end :) just be careful mate that's it.

Localbitcoin is a good place to buy some. In my country we have Coin.ph. Where we can just transfer funds online to their bank account, and convert the case in their website to bitcoins. Check out google and see if there is a similar service.

Localbitcoins work almost like that i guess, because in localbitcoins if you find a seller from your country then you can send your money to his bank account and then he will give you bitcoins for that, fees depends on your bank transfer fees otherwise there isn't any fees there i guess.

Edit: Make sure that the seller is a trusted one, which you can get to know by seeing their successful trade numbers written in front of there accounts.

It is fairly new and to work with paypal it does need to be a seasoned service to know they are good enough to send your paypal funds too.

Coinbase is one of the easiest for using a credit card.

Saw another paypal for btc exchanger but the site does not look very legitimate so I did not even attempt to try it.

yes we also using the same method, that is one of the most safest way of buying bitcoins, there are too many other ways of using it but still the most important and the most safest way is using localbitcoin.

Well, we can not sure whether OP's country accept trading bitcoin or not. The best solution with the smallest fees is to search for trusted member on every forum's marketplace. Most of forum here have already accepted Bitcoin. Always use escrow. Beware of scammer

Google is your friend, try buying a relatively low amount from a site that has legit reviews. If you do not get scammed, then try buying the higher amounts. You have to do your own research. Many people might try to scam you on this.

Buying in a local exchange is the most visible for me, I do buy bitcoin in our country's local exchange and we have like 3 local exchanges and it has never been a problem buying bitcoin. Our government is aware of bitcoin and they made sure an exchange site complies with the laws.

Localbitcoins.com can be a good place for selling but for buying it may not be that much safe from my point of view, because if you are willing to buy bitcoins from there you are the one who will pay the money first and i'm not sure if someone after getting the payment cancels the deal then what happens, it would be better to buy from a normal exchange but not somewhere like that where you are buying one to one.

Like what other suggests, Localbitcoins is one of the best site to buy bitcoin because you can easily find people who are selling bitcoins or vice versa and also there is a lot of payment method to choose from and it depends on the seller on which payment method he/she prefers but always be careful because even though there a lot of trusted people there still a few people who are scammers.

Anyway, I tried using it. It was a good platform to buy Bitcoin. It was fast and reliable. I tried buying $30 worth Bitcoins on the site. The exchange rate was not too far from the actual price. Then they charge a 0.0005BTC as miner's fee when sending out bitcoins from your wallet there.

Buy Bitcoins on localbitcoins because that site is one of the trusted site where you can do meet ups to assure transactions.

i registered on the site but can buy more than 5usd . Why is that happening? I tried to remove the 5usd to 50 or 100, but it keeps returning to 5usd
