The percentage they take whenever you exchange it back to bitcoin, are they higher or lower?
Which website takes a higher percentage?

The issues you mention are mostly the trading platform dependent. When you are choosing a reputed trading platform, you will not face any issues.

Not in bitcoin trading, but in my Forex trading I have faced many issues like order is not getting executed and not connecting to live market are some of major issues, I have faced in my trading.

Well said and thanks for clearing that out. I think I forgot to tell the thing is altcoin to bitcoin and vice versa.

How about the live markets with different prices? How do you deal with it? Are you picking a website that sells it way cheaper even if it is not that reputable?

Both alt coins and bitcoins will be having different trading prices in different exchanges that is due to no one will be controlling all the exchanges at the same time. Prices are just fluctuating based on the trader's buying selling activities. So, we cannot expect same price across exchanges.

We can choose any exchanges but we must check their reputation before dealing with them. There are a lot of incidents, that exchanges scammed traders.

GDAX has been known to crap out. Kraken is a specialist in flaking out in times of excitement. Gemini did their fat finger rollback. These are all solid Bitcoin trading platforms. They've all had modest issues.

So anything can really come out with some issues? I am not looking for a perfect one but the one who could deal with the problems and make a move fast into fixing it is the ideal one. And there aint one right?

Any trading platforms could be a scam anytime they want without further notice. That is just really sad.

In 2014, Central banks across the world simultaneously issued warning against the use of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The warning stated that these cryptocurrencies are not backed by any central bank and the volatile nature of these digital currencies poses a risk for investments. In many places, even the banks and financial institutions were issued warning against dealing with digital assets like bitcoin.

Since then many countries have relaxed their stance towards bitcoin, except for few like Russia, China, Thailand and Vietnam. Bitcoin doesn’t enjoy any legal status and these governments’ ambiguous stance towards bitcoin makes it borderline illegal.

I trade altcoins to bitcoin and vice versa and I'm not involved in fiat <=> bitcoin exchanges as I prefer more the altcoins trading.

There are some issues with exchanges that sometimes the deposit is not recorded in their system and they should fix it manually.

Sometimes the withdrawal can take a long time and you should contact the support. The withdrawal fees is almost the same mostly 0.15% to 0.25%.

i have had all of these issues on your signature site (YOBIT)

i have also found that they have such big fees for withdrawals especially for money related withdrawals.

you should only choose the reputable and popular exchanges to do your business on. and if you take a look at the prices in these types of sites you can see that they all have same rates.

actually one of the ways to see if an exchange site is good or not is to see if the price is always having delays and also checking the spread. these two can show you how much volume they actually have.

This is correct, those issues would be   on the  platform and  as a trader we should  really  find a reputable  trading site   if we dont  like  to  experience this  things well there are really times that we cant avoid  this circumstances  but we could always  contact their support if we  experiencing  problems.

I haven't any issues either as I trade even though I am still new with trading I am able to be comfortable. But if I have issues I think there is really none and that is just going to depend on the trading platform that you are using. And on bitcoin, there is no issue at all as the bitcoin trading is already well established.

Had a problem with getting my Dash out of Yobit about 1.5 months ago, and it pissed me off to no end.  The problem is, you never know when an exchange is just going to up and disappear with everything, like Cryptsy did.  I'd say having to worry about whether your exchange is going to survive the night is really bad.

Other than that, I haven't had issues with trades not going through.  I've been pretty fortunate.  The altcoin trading world is kinda crazy, and I'm taking an extended break from it.

That is why you do not keep your coins in the exchange for too long. You have to transfer it to your wallet so you will not risk losing them when the exchange/trading sites suddenly disappear. You just have to bear with the transfer fees.

all the problems that you listed can be found in your signature site Yobit and i have actually experienced all of them in this exchanger!

not saying these never happen anywhere else, obviously any other place is also subjected to the same problems but the difference is always in the number of occurrences and also the way the owner of that exchange service (aka the support team) is going to handle the problems.

i am not having any experience on trading issues, maybe its about waiting the time of confirming transaction and i am fine with that. for deposit and withdraw, i think i am not have any bad experience too. but if you mean about arbitrage, i said yes, its needs time to be completed and it takes longer than deposit or withdrawal.

for the percentage, as long as i am trading, i don't mind with the percentage in the market exchange, as long as i can make a profit, its should be fine for me. i don't make calculation about the website that takes higher percentage so i don't know.

I am using Bitstamp and BTC-E and have never experienced real problems. The only exchange I had serious problems with was Cryptsy back in the days. Deposits (BTC and several alts) taking days to post, orderbooks not updating live due to lags, slow platform, etc. And eventually it turned out to be a scam....

I encounter in withdrawing my RADS Coin from another exchange. It was delayed. Thats why I may advise that before withdrawing, check first the wallet status, also if in doubt you might test withdraw in small amount if its ok and smooth,go ahead.

Also, don't hesitate to contact support whenever you encounter any transaction problem.

There is no any actual answer for your question as all of this problem can be trading platform dependent and also the altcoin you are dealing. With in several occassion i have got my few altcoin stucked during deposit but that is due to altcoin network problem for example (lisk in past). I am only dealing with poloniex and bittrex for my altcoin trading which are quite good if you look at the trading fees, features and security they have also quick response from support team.

Yes ccex if i deposited bitcoin i always wait a 4-5 hours before my deposit add to my balance.
In withdrawals i experienced that almost 24 hours before i recieved the confirmation email. Also in altcoins i withdraw coins to sell in yobit but my coins does not recieve until that coins gone i submit ticket but they answer is "its took time to fix the wallet until the coins gone to there site.

You are joking right? Lots of people and there you go, lots of problems.
Anybody can do trading with success or not, some will have pure language issues others compatibility problems as we have so many browsers on the market.
More people are easily get impatient so troubles with long confirmation times will make an issue for them, literally thousands of fields on which something may go wrong.
Desynchronised exchange wallets, missing dll's resulting in wallet failure, bad plug-ins etc.
Anyone can trade but not anyone is a IT genius nor willing to spend a lot of time figuring broken things on their own.

If you observe different exchange, not all transaction went smoothly.  There are some cases, for some exchange a very rare case where deposit or withdrawal is stuck and won't processed to be finally completed.  In this case, people file a support ticket to let the exchange know that there is a problem in the process.  I also experienced this to some exchange, submitted a ticket and was resolved within an hour.

yes if you have no experience of trading you can really face so many problems. therefore you need to invest a little amount of bitcoin in trading because you need to get experience in trading and then invest a good amount.

its normal when some updates happen or some security concerned has been detected from your account the process of withdrawal or deposits will be temp not work but like mate said it just a ticket away allowing the exchange to review what causing the problem.

When trading, the exchange will take a fee on all trades. So if you buy bitcoin and want to sell for a profit, you have to account for losing a fee which cuts your profit.  Luckily the fees for trading cryptocurrencies are usually very low. Of course you also lose money to fees when you transfer into or out of the exchange.

I once found myself in this kind of transaction problem but when I contacted support I was told that they will look into the issue ang get back to me, fortunately after about three days I got response from the exchange and I was lucky to get my coins back.
Hence, always contact support for your all kinds of trading issues. For a better customer support, we must choose good highly reputed exchanges for our trading.

Actually i don't have problem with deposit and withdrawal although there is time for waiting confirmation but it is not becoming problem, the true problem on trading is profit consistently it becomes true problem for all of traders and there are many traders who give up because of can't make profit consistently from trading.

If you got a bad dev for managing the coin is you hold it, and the serious problem can make a pump or dump for manipulating the coin and a lot of the people are got trapped by the dev. It's just one serious problem in trading. It's not about the price, but the way of managing the coin by dev are to be a critical attack.
