I'm a web developer

Is these dedicated servers solely for the purpose of website hosting or can we put our programs and software in it to run it 24/7 on a Linux server?
If so would there be anyone to help us with the setup so that we can install and use the software there forever?

That would mean a huge step from website hosting to this if that could be achieved with your services.

I am running a full bitcoind node for a second month on their dedicated server (dell poweredge, a little bit old but I like it) and it's running smoothly.
I was also able to encrypt the whole / HDD partition of my server with LUKS.
Network is very stable.

Another and special thing I like that they don't blame me for 'Noname' in my first name and 'noname in my last name fields  :)

babo: generally yes, but check our ToS to be sure. Also, write a ticket on our site and specify exact type of content you'll be hosting before purchasing the service, we can provide you better consultation this way.

Kevin77: you can host any software since you get full root access on your isolated Linux server, should it be dedicated or VPS. For now we only provide basic technical support, it means we can't guide you with software installation, since you can do it by yourself reading HOW-TO's found using Duckduckgo.

Hello, our latest downtime was really unexpected due to some hardware failure on the upstream's DC (not ours), please accept our apologies. We have posted the information on Twitter.

The issue is network-related only, servers uptime is not affected.

We are now installing a reserve physical link with our upstream in order to prevent such situations in future.
