Title: A message to whomever is just now trying to break into my blockchain wallet
Post by: greyhawk on April 02, 2013, 09:08:00 AM
Please stop. I'm getting annoyed at my phone dancing everytime you try. There's only like 25 bitcents in there anyway.

Are you getting messages because of a 2-factor login requirement, or does it just message you everytime someone gives the wrong password?

greyhawk, not sure if you solved this yet, but in looking through the security settings you can just restrict login to a set of IPs. If yours is static, add it and I suppose problem will be solved.

It's the 2 FA kicking in. Blockchain actually sends out the second code even before any password is entered.

I actually don't really care, because there's nothing really in there, my assets are casascius-coined. I just found it funny. I did trace them back to what I would assume to be a virtual server hosted by OVH in Montreal, but lack the drive to go snoop some more with nothing at stake. Maybe later.

Amusing. Still trying. But becoming dumber. Now they're attacking from Millbury, MA on a Comcast HFC line.

I can see your house, dudes.

Me too, where do you see his IP? In blockchain.info ?

Probably only a bot scraping forum username then trying to find easy password. I presume you have a wallet with your username?

Bump for "It's that time of the year again".

Man, you people must be desperate for that like 40 bucks or whatever is in that account right now. You should probably consider getting another job, because as would-be thieves you, well, kinda suck.

No, actually they only seem to do that at the beginning of each month so far. Maybe they need to pay rent or something.

Change your alias, problem solved. You can use your phone vibrator for something else now.
