Title: WIFI requirements?

Would a wireless-G NIC be a bottleneck for mining with x3 5830s?

Do a ping test on http://pingtest.net.

If you get over a 100ms delay with that NIC, you may get more stale blocks than you would prefer. Otherwise, it ought to be good bandwidth-wise.

Is it such a "at leas" thing, ot does faster pings mean greater chanses too? fastpath + lan for max profit?

Connection lag is only a factor for stale blocks (blocks that were already solved)
It shouldn't be a big deal unless your ping is really high

Doesn't appear to be any sort of problem to me. Seems like all data transferred is less than 50Mb an hour, but i had a few other things running at the time. I'm guessing its less than half of that traffic.

I don't think you would have much of a problem.
