Title: UK bank transfers Post by: fredtrader on April 02, 2013, 05:28:59 PM I'm not totally new to using bitcoin, I previously deposited using blockchain's online wallet faster transfer method but they seem to have taken it down. I know there are sites like bitbargain.co.uk where you can buy bitcoins with uk bank transfers, but does anyone know why established trading sites such as blockchain are unable to offer the service on a permanent basis?

I never saw any official statement from blockchain regarding the removal of ukbt as a deposit option. Its expensive, but OK once you consider that all your future transactions will be practically free once you switch to BTC.

I transferred some cash from RBS to their Barclays account but they say allow 2 days so will wait and see. I've used transferwise to send to mtgox in poland, took about 3 days, faster than I thought it would.
