Title: How to run Electrum Post by: Trog on October 18, 2016, 06:48:19 AM Windows 10.
After downloading Electrum and installing it a wallet pops up. Once the wallet is closed i can see no way of activating it again. There is no icon on the desktop and there is no executable module in c:\Users\User name\AppData\Electrum or in Program Files. (I find it very strange that this most basic information is not on the web page, the documentation, or FAQs.) Then right-click on it and pin it to your taskbar. "Electrum Wallet" appears, and when i click on it i'm taken to my browser, which displays the result of the search term "Electrum Wallet". Which wallet have you downloaded from https://electrum.org/#download (https://electrum.org/#download)? I'm using the portable version on w10 without any issues.
