In one of his first public appearances since publicly backing Craig Wright as the creator of Bitcoin, Andresen discussed a variety of topics related to the current state of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
One of the more interesting segments of the interview had to do with further adoption of bitcoin as a currency. The only real roadblock with Bitcoin is when developers go rogue and start getting delusions of grandeur. Use BitPay or any other third party service to do the conversion back and forth into fiat, if you are a
fiat fanboy. We prefer to stay in Bitcoin, but unfortunately people used the fiat system for 100s of years, and it is still forced on people by their governments... so this is not a flaw or roadblock created by Bitcoin, but rather a flaw or roadblock caused by the fiat system. ::) |
