Push the core clock up and the voltage down and find the sweet spot. you will need to enable voltage control in Afterburner's settings because I see it's still disabled for you. Post by: igotek on October 22, 2016, 04:47:51 PM I set it to 1180 Mhz and I m getting 33 Mh/s
is there a limit to set it to upper value ? Big thanks goes to @YIz It's really cool !!! Title: Re: OC and getting higher Hashrate for R9 390X ? You're welcome, just make sure to stay within safe temperatures. Title: Re: OC and getting higher Hashrate for R9 390X ? Post by: igotek on October 22, 2016, 04:51:10 PM What is the safe temp ?
Between 70 and 80 ? Title: Re: OC and getting higher Hashrate for R9 390X ? Post by: YIz on October 22, 2016, 04:53:40 PM What is the safe temp ? Between 70 and 80 ? Below 80 is pretty good. make sure you are not reaching the 90s. reference 290s with the same core used to run at 94c but I won't recommend it. Title: Re: OC and getting higher Hashrate for R9 390X ? Post by: igotek on October 22, 2016, 04:58:22 PM Core clock 1200 Mhz is good. If I try to higher value, the system crashes and I have to restart the pc. I know it is important for mining. Now I see 34 Mh/s.
What is the core voltage for ? Title: Re: OC and getting higher Hashrate for R9 390X ? Post by: YIz on October 22, 2016, 05:02:34 PM Core clock 1200 Mhz is good. If you can decrease the core voltage while maintaing the same hashrate do it. It will lower the heat and electricity consumption. |
