Title: Verso Cards Post by: miroman86 on October 23, 2016, 02:04:44 AM Up until today I had no trouble with the Verso Card app, always checking my BTC... Today though, I can't access the app, go to their website, or get any support from their social media accounts.

From what I understand, you need to somehow get the private key(s?) from the card onto another wallet. You can check out their github page https://github.com/VersoSolutions and see if you can use some software from that to extract the private key. The key export web page worked...you gotta make sure to use the index.html in the dist directory. Must use Firefox as Chrome requires https site. (or you could setup the files on an https site you control) This is so that web browser can use the webcam. Imported to Jaxx wallet fine using the QRcode generated from the private key. Scan the verso wallet card (private side) type in the password and you get a new QR image. Capture that image as a "paper wallet". Just used the camera icon (without selecting send or receive) and pointed at QR and it imported fine...RIP verso. |
